I choose to do a kindergarten classroom because the kids are just so adorable and ready to learn new valuable things and I wanted to go for a fun playful theme so I did a gumball theme which symbolizes “We Are Going To A Ball In Kindergarten” and I drew a gumball machine to make my theme more appealing.
I think my classroom will provide the optimum learning experience because it will have the setup of an appropriate kindergarten classroom but it will always be lots of fun and the classroom will be full of color so the students will never get bored of it. My students will always have a voice to express any ideas and if they are logical enough I will consider them because my classroom is all about making my students comfortable. The children
I feel my room design that I created myself, offers the most learning with the given space. Learning centers are set up around the perimeter of the room with an open floor plan for the center of the room. This allows for free movement of the children. The learning centers offer independent play, creativity, imagination, cause and effect play, independent learning, open ended toys in a safe, clean environment that also offers lots of exploring options. I believe children learn best when the childcare space is well organized, offers lots of different options for the children, with clear rules and boundaries set. My program is play based so I believe children need lots of play in their day; child and adult lead
Baseball has been in my life since I was little. It’s been a big part of my life too. Over the years I have gained some qualities that would be a good part of your team. I’m a team first kind of guy and once I’m on a team they become like family. I’m looking for a college that is best fit for me as well as me fitting in with them. I became interested in my sport when I was little. My dad played and started me off with t-ball. Later on when I was seven I began to play travel ball.
Throughout my teenage years I loved to play baseball. I was in different clubs, organizations, and teams. My whole life was dedicated to playing ball. Then things started to change going into my freshmen year, I started to get into computers. I decided to enroll into a computer class at Franklin high school. I started to learn a lot stuff about computers and also I was pretty good at it. Also at the time I was still managing to be in baseball. Then going into my senior year I had to choses in between being in baseball or going into computers. I knew going into computers will help me get a head start in my carrier. So I chose to go into computers and quit baseball. I thought I will never have to quit baseball my whole life. It was a very big significant event in my life but good things have come with it. I got three CompTIA certifications, paid for half of my
Our classroom reminds me of the Palladium Ballroom, we go to class expecting to dance and have a good time just like those who went to the Palladium. Our classroom is not as famous as the Palladium however, I believe that the class about the same impact on people. Everyone who comes into the class has a great energy and I know when I get into class, even if I
List the things that you like and dislike about your site teacher’s classroom arrangement. What changes would you make and why?
First, the environment in which learning takes place should be appealing. Regardless of the size of the room--whether small or overcrowded--there are a number of ways to create an
“Are we gonna play dodgeball?” I am asked, as I stand, sweating profusely, in the stifling gym. I try to wrangle in five excited athletes. I struggle to say no to Jeremy, a 5’2” fifteen year old, who enjoys watching baseball and helping me cut flashcards when I work in the assembly room. I agree that the group can play dodgeball at the end of the day, after we get through our nutrition lesson, since it teaches them competitiveness, strategy, and tuckers them out (their mothers thank me).
Ever since I have decided that I wanted to be a teacher, I’ve been dreaming about how I will organize my classroom. There are many things I’ve seen and learned from that make me want certain things in my future classroom. For example, the last block class I was in taught me that having a family space is important. You want to make sure that the parents and families feel welcome. After learning all about family spaces, that is something that I definitely want to make sure I have space for.
I know that children learn in many different ways. Observing, experimenting, reading, and listening are a few of those many ways. I have learned that people learn best when the information is something that they are interested in. I am going to strive to make every lesson fun, and applicable to my students. I favor using many methods to teach, including lecturing, cooperative learning, project based instruction, and “hands-on” activities. I want the classroom to be a place that the students enjoy, not a boring place. I believe that every child has an innate hunger for learning and becoming successful. If I can harness their craving and aim it in the right direction, I believe I will be successful in helping these students achieve what they are looking for in life.
My classroom will be like the Elysian Fields to a fallen Greek soldier. Antecedent to the arrival of students I will subconsciously encourage relaxation, energy, joy, and boost cognitive functions using my classroom environment , I. e., blue, yellow, green and orange walls,a bubbling aquarium, and cinnamon, jasmine, vanilla, citrus, and peppermint aromas. Every student will learn a fun fact about all their classmates and if they need extra points they will tell me a fun fact about a student of my choosing. I will have knowledge of their behavior by daily observation, attaining personal information and I will make inquiries about the child previous night's activities when they enter my class. Negative
I am a 13 years old 7th grader and really found of ducks as well as drawing them. I was told that the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth summer camp can offer me the opportunities to explore the new fields by my friend, so I want to apply. I think I will learn more things and try something new in the program.
1. I would first take into thought the physical enviroment, I would want the class to be well lit and inviting. I would want their to be designed areas for play, or experiements, and even space for children who just need some quiet time. I would want the posters on the wall to either be of the kids art work or of their families and homelife. I would want to make the classroom as child based as possible. I would make sure all the toys are age appropriate, if they're infiant to toddlers I'd give them toys that are more based around developing their fine motor skills, older children I would give them more toys that they have to think while playing with to help them develop cognatively. I would want the craft area to be well stocked with
My classroom environment is designed in relation to the learning opportunities provided for students creating a positive, warm, and welcoming classroom environment. My classroom will foster a diverse atmosphere. This is important so each student may learn. I will have plenty of resources in my classroom that foster learning and allow students to feel comfortable. I will make my students feel comfortable in asking me questions. My classroom will be a tactile environment no items that will cause distraction to the students. I will also have items to help students relieve their anxiety. My classroom will foster student centered learning and students will be autonomous and will be able to work collaboratively on projects.
My initial impression of the classroom was that it was very well organized and that the atmosphere was very welcoming. The classroom has very clearly defined center areas; they have gross motor, art, science, manipulative, and a quiet space for the students. They also have a very large television
