I think I deserve the twenty-five thousand dollars because I am an outstanding, responsible, young adult. I look to use the money for all types of things that I may need or want in the future. I can manage my money well and make some boss moves. If in charge of the money I would like to purchase a new vehicle and accessories that I need. With college on the way, I would need to use some of my money for a dorm, possibly a new laptop, and groceries. Managing and saving money is one of the most important things to me, as a younger adult going into the world I need to be prepared. The first thing that I would buy with my money would be a Mac Book Pro lap top computer. It costs one thousand and six hundred dollars and would be suitable for college.
Why I deserve to have $25,000 dollars? I think I deserve the money because first I’ve made through my
I myself as a person am interested in getting a job relatively soon and what I am wondering is how much am I going to get paid? with all of the talks of minimum wage on the rise it looks like a good time to try and get a job but the thing is as much as I want the money and the responsibility I don’t rightly want to end my time as a kid.
I have always been dedicated to graduating high school, going to college, and starting a

What motivated me to apply again for staff was the urge to help players again, I missed every minute of being a staff member and I hate myself for resigning. When I resigned I thought it was a good decision at the time, now I realized that it was a mistake and I should've never done it. I feel that now I have time to put myself fully back into Mineplex I can help players again like I used to. So many people have asked me day in and day out, Why did you resign?" I ask myself that question everyday. I missed it so much that I really want to get back into it. I am motivated to start helping people above all else. I want to help the Mineplex community to the best of my ability, to make sure that every player is happy and they are having fun. In
After taking the What Motivates You quiz I found out I am motivated the most by achievement and the least by affiliation. I was not surprised when I found this out. I’m not a person who needs to have friends or be surrounded to be happy. I am happy being alone or with a small group of people. I honestly don't want to form personal relationships with the people I work with because I feel like that could cause some drama. Achievement is definitely something I strive for, so I was not surprised when that was the one I scored the highest on. I am always striving to do my best at work. I want to achieve high level task. Power is something that I am unsure about. Part of me wants power because I don't like being told what to do and part of me doesn't
When I was three years old. My grandma took me to her house and made me learn how to write everyone’s name. Including my name that was the easiest out of the 30 names I had to learn how to write. While my grandma was teaching my how to write. I learned that I was writing in
Pursing a career as a medical doctor is an opportunity for me to mentor youth in underserved populations. As a child, I was raised in the low income, urban community of Roxbury, MA. Although not as notorious today, the neighborhood had garnered negative attention for its high crime rates. My mother emigrated from Haiti and raised me as a single parent. Due to our financial circumstance, Roxbury became our permanent residence. I have always felt there was something lacking in Roxbury in comparison to other towns I visited. My teenage years were largely spent in the suburban town of Stoneham where I attended high school. There was a literal difference in air quality and a psychology contrast in future prospects. While native students of
Each time I get a new set of classes I work hard at first and don’t talk to anyone. I do good for a little then I get tired of it I don’t have any motivation to continue pushing and I get lazy and stop caring and that needs to change. At the end I have to bust my butt to finish and it’s not worth it. I need to just stay consistent and do what I need to.
Since an early age my passion has always been to help others. In every aspect of my educational career and in my jobs, I have always determined that helping someone is the goal. Helping people is a goal that can be achieved in any work field regardless of what one does. For the last five years, I have volunteered for a non-profit organization named “Hogar de Ninos: Semillas de Fe” (translates to “A Home for Children: Seeds of Faith”). In this organization, a group of young adults have traveled to the Dominican Republic once a year for a period of two weeks each trip. Our goal is to help the impoverished children. These children have been exposed to countless traumatic events including being physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. The organizations mission consists of helping develop these children
The community that I am currently living in is not the best it's run down and over populated with people who have drug addictions or are homeless. Not many people try to help these people simply because they believe they're in a higher class. What have i done for the community?

“Certificates, not money, are a greater incentive for students…, according to a recent Vanderbilt University study”(Balakit 1). The study consisted of three groups of students, a control group that was not offered any incentives, a group that was offered $100, and a group that was offered a certificate of recognition. “The certificate was a significantly better motivator than the monetary reward, the research found” (1). However, after the first certificate of recognition received the second one might not have as great of an impact as the first certificate. The study also states that, “… a certificate of recognition might not have the same value and motivating power for a student who consistently
