When an individual has OCPD they become so detailed and consumed with perfection that it overtakes the original task being completed.Excessive commitment to work the devoted, people with obsessive compulsive personality disorder easily fall victim to being work alholichics who spend little time with their loved ones. They are assiduous,painstaking,and obstinate about their views on values, morals, and ethics.Individuals who may have OCPD are not open to accepting new ideas and concepts. Unable to properly assess the value of inanimate objects and dispose of them, even when they do not hold any value. Not open to working with others these individual do not enjoy group projects they tend to be very controlling and want to do all of the work
