Personality Evaluation There have been many studies towards the understanding of personality and how it is given to humankind. Personality, described in Experience Psychology, “is a pattern of enduring, distinctive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that characterize the way an individual shapes the world” (King, 2016, pg. 375). It is often difficult to reflect on our own personalities without having a strong perception of who we are, or wish to be. Luckily, there are scientists who study and analyze the differences of humans and which personalities correspond with them appropriately. Testing on my personal behaviors and internal motives, my personality type follows INFP—per the Jung’s personality test. With this result, I can reflect on the traits I am said to portray and decide if the person I am assumed to be, is the person I desire.
Discovering who I am, currently, as a human, and as a soul within in myself, has been the most difficult yet important task I’ve had throughout my adolescence. The best trait I’ve perceived is my unfailing will to help and support people before myself. Most friends and family admit that I am the first person to respond to calls of help and obvious issues that need attending to. Being a helping hand or supporting figure for others is an honor that nothing other yet replaces. Other positive traits I show include, my empathetic nature, self-determination, and positive outlook towards life that serves as a happy reassurance for those around me.…
