Princess Diana showed that one random act of kindness might be returned one day if you decide to put someone else’s needs and values before yours. This quote depicts how much the public and their needs mean to Diana. Diana is an important person in this day and age because of all her accomplishments and her positive public role in England, while still living a powerful and happy private life. It was unlikely that she had any interaction with Prince Charles because of the vast age difference. Aside from the Royal family, when Diana was 3, Inge Crane came to Park House as an au pair, a young foreign nanny. Igne Crane had described Diana as a tomboy who enjoyed being outdoors, climbing trees and playing. However, her parents’ marriage had been fading away and as a result, they ended up filing for a divorce. The divorce was finalized in 1969 and her father won sole custody of the children. On February 24, 1981, Diana and Prince Charles had formally announced their engagement. The Princess was the first Englishwoman to marry an heir to the throne for 300 years. On July 29, 1981, couple got married at Saint Paul’s cathedral in London, which had drawn a global television and radio audience that estimated to 1,000 million people. Thousands of people were lining the route from Buckingham Palace to the Cathedral. The Prince and the Princess spent part of their honeymoon at Mountbatten family home at Broadlands, Hampshire, before flying to Gibraltar to join the Royal Yacht, HYM BRITANNIA for a 12-day Mediterranean cruise. They settled at Highgrove near Gloucestershire as their main home with an apartment in Kensington Palace as their London home. The Royals had two sons, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis and Prince Henry (Harry) Charles Albert David. Prince William was born on June 21, 1982 and Prince Harry was born on September 15, 1984, at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, in London.
