Before dipping a bit deeper into my own personality test named the big five personality test, I like to understand more about the concept of these evaluations. Personality tests are used in various ways and for several reasons. The spectrum of participate range from fun and humor to evaluations for professional and behavior perspectives. Many of these personality tests out there have an entertainment purpose only and have little scientifically value.
So to understand the purpose of a personality test is a tool that is used to describe the personality of a person at any given moment or day Therefore when discussing ourselves or even others we refer to that persons personality characteristics. In the field of psychology a person(s) his or her personality can be assessed with help of a personality test. To consider my own field of career with clients with a diagnosed mental illness these personality tests can be used to evaluate changes in personality as well to evaluate the success of a therapy.
It is fair to state that each of these evaluations have its strengths, weaknesses as well their limited reliability and validation as well its dual purpose. A personality test on recreational and drinking behavior can be used in a professional and work attendance assessment.

After completing this assessment, I was able to analyze my personality in depth. I found this information to be helpful knowledge and provide insight about myself, as well as being crucial in examining my personality traits. The big five is also referred to the OCEAN model of personality, and stands for the main traits used to describe personalities. This acronym stands for openness to experience/intellect, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. After taking the test I was then given percentile scores that allowed me to compare myself with other people who have taken the test online as well, therefore making it a more meaningful comparison.

In taking the Big Five Personality Test, I find the results to be consistent with my personality. According to the results, I am a conventional and down to earth person that is very well-organized and can be relied upon. Furthermore, I am a nervous and quiet person with the tendency to be mean and rude to others. These findings are pretty accurate because I know for a fact that I am a very well-organized person with no intention of being center of attention in a room full of people. Furthermore, my friends are always telling me that I am rude and harsh on certain things. Finally, I prefer to see things realistically rather than using my imagination and being creative.

Myers-Briggs Personality test has been used for various reasons since it started being used in everyday business. After taking the test and researching the temperament that went along with it, I found it to be an accurate depiction of my character.
