The thought of school uniforms seems like an old-fashioned thing for many of us. Unless a student goes to a private school, it is usually not a topic brought within families. Yet throughout different countries, having school uniforms is normal. Students in schools that are required to have school uniforms usually do well academically and seem content in wearing the same outfit every day for school. In recent times, debates have grown stronger with in schools and parents over whether or not school uniforms are a benefit to the students and their education. When budget becomes a problem the school board usually decides to cut off all ties from incorporating school uniforms. School uniforms show that having them actually help students to have a safer and positive environment and creates a good learning environment. School Uniforms encourage students to become more aware of their learning skills. Students will sometimes feel as though they are not getting the most out of going to a public school. I learned about this opinion that people had this year when I got the chance to meet other students that were coming from both a public and private environment. I never noticed how opinionated students were until I asked one of the students I met “Did you learn more in a public school without uniforms or in a private a school with uniforms?” . A way that school uniforms create good learning environments is by not having to worry about what they wear on a daily basis.
