The human race is in a constant search for the answers of life. The topic of abortion is a very controversial subject in today’s society. The abundance of strong opinions regarding both sides of this argument, has left many Americans confused and undecided about whether abortion should be legal or illegal. It is a mother’s fundamental right to have the option to abort. If society outlaws this right, society is interfering with a mother’s decision pertaining to her own body. A full grown woman feeling comfortable with herself and body is more important than an unborn fetus’s right to life. Abortion will continue to be an issue because every person possesses different morals. Making abortion legal across the country would stress the importance of women's rights, which so many have fought to receive, and would also prevent young teens or rape victim from ruining their lives. Clearly, there are many valid opinions for this issue which is why no one can simply deny the effect of the impact this decision will have on our society. Pro-choice has the belief that women have the right to choose to abort a baby from their womb. Many women who are not yet fit to raise a child would be forced to, although their success would not be likely. “Teenagers who become mothers have grim prospects for the future.” (thoughtco.org) Young adults that are pregnant are more likely to dropout of school. The most important reason why abortion should be an option, is for all of the women that did not give their consent to become pregnant. A disturbing article states that “ adult women have an estimated 32,101 pregnancies result from rape each year” (National Center for Biotechnology Information). It is sickening that a woman would be forced to conceive a baby that was created, by force, with a disgusting human. Abortion is considered “killing a baby”, but a pregnant woman’s removal of the fetus, is no more immoral than an ordinary person’s refusal to donate his kidney.
