It is hot and dry. Everything is hot and dry. You haven’t had clean water in weeks or proper food in months. The sky is perpetually grey. You can’t remember a time when it was blue, or even just when the clouds were white. The air is suffocatingly toxic as if the very earth was dying. You’re a mile from the beach, but it’s far from pretty. It’s full of plastic and too toxic and acidic to swim in; only bottom feeders can survive. Agriculture has fallen due to the UV radiation being too strong for plants to survive. Humans have fallen back to being a hunter-gatherer species, as meat is too expensive to produce domestically with the lack of plants. You’ll die within a year. This is the planet in one hundred years. Everyone talks about global warming and the planet dying, but have you really taken action to help slow the death of the planet? Though it seems complex, the answer is simple. Ecosystems are dying, but you can help slow the death of the earth by going vegetarian, semi-vegetarian, or vegan and letting your peers know about the effect the meat industry has on the world and how we can stop it.
If you do not already believe that global warming is real, the evidence is in front of you. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), the oceans are rising about one-eighth of an inch every year. Oceans rose at twice the rate of the past century in just the last two decades, and acidity has increased by 30% since the 18th century. All of this is
“Scientists’ overwhelming conclusion is that climate change is happening and human activity is the primary culprit,” (“Climate Change”). The world we live in is falling apart more and more every day. Pollution; Global Warming; Climate Change; These are all problems that caused by people who have come forward in recent years, one of the biggest issues is climate change. The United States government needs to take aggressive steps to combat climate change because scientist have warned that if the climate changing progresses at its current rate, it could have disastrous consequences for life on Earth. Data shows that climate change is linked to rising sea levels, droughts, an increase in the risk of extinction of many species, and the increase in severe storms. With all the issues that are connected to climate change we are not doing enough to try to counteract the lasting effects it has on our environment.
Global warming. It’s a highly controversial and well-known topic brought to the attention of many for the past few years. Global warming is an issue that is currently destroying our entire planet. But because humans are selfish, global warming is something we should avoid addressing. In fact, we should consider supporting this so-called “issue”, as its benefits for mankind outweigh the damages on the entire planet. Global warming is here to help mankind in many different ways. A non-stop beneficial lifestyle comes from the increased temperatures of the world, outrageously rising water levels and an atmosphere filled with carbon dioxide.
Global climate change, something that most people in the world are not taking as seriously as they should. Many people believe that climate change is a phenomenon; a conspiracy theory to engage people into spending more money. When the world became industrialized, we lost our way on protecting our Earth, our only planet. Industrialization is why our environment is in critical condition. Advocating and government officials are necessary for a decrease of Greenhouse Gas emissions into our atmosphere. For our environment to thrive, changes need to happen and they can begin with yourself.
I have noticed that climate change has been a big issue this year. I think it's very important to talk about Global warming and be aware of the causes of it. We all should want to take care of this earth, because we are the ones living here. We should make people more aware of the greenhouse effect and how it can affect us.
What would our world, the place we call home be like if we were to just keep living our lives as if global warming was not an issue? Would our coastlines or beaches be underwater? What about the farmland that we depend on for food? The purpose of this paper is persuade you, the reader that we as individuals can help save the planet from the negative effects of global warming and provide a better future for our children.
Global warming has been a very controversial topic in the 21st century that is very well divided into two groups. There are those who believe it’s just a myth, and then there are those who absolutely believe global warming is occurring. There is completely no doubt that why someone should deny that fact that the Earth is undergoing global warming right now. Global warming is the term used to describe the Earth’s increase in temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere and its oceans which influences the increase of climate. Since the start of the industrial revolution, climate has increased since the overload of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increasing average temperatures. Many people deny that the Earth is currently undergoing global warming, but don’t take a chance to look at the evidence. This event is something one should take into consideration because it could not only just affect the
Global warming has been an increasing problem throughout the world. Over the years people have worried about the situation and tried to come up with ways to solve the situation. What exactly is global warming, and how could we stop it?
years have proven Global warming is accelerating the rate of sea level rise and dramatically
Global Warming will continue to be a monstrous problem to be dealt with, when thinking of the future what needs to be considered is how long can the Earth keep sustaining life with little to no change. Change cannot happen overnight but, with nations working together to fix a common goal it is possible to put in motion a considerable change that will benefit the generations to come. Global warming cannot keep being put off, the risks are to great to ignore anymore, it is everyone’s problem therefore, it takes everyone to make the situation okay. Scientists need to keep raising awareness to get people to jump into action, the quicker the better. Politicians like Al Gore need to be more involved in the truth and facts surrounding climate change
Global Warming is becoming a very important matter now that we recognize it as a threat and the temperature is still rising. Global warming has affected our ecosystems and put the world in a state of worry. Global Warming is the result of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane and the overuse of these gases. Global warming also can’t be eliminated because these gases will continue to lurk around in the earth’s atmosphere. Global warming is also a key role in ocean water levels rising due to the glaciers melting.
Human activities such as deforestation, burning fossil fuels and transportation emissions have caused warmer climate changes. These factors all are increasing the “Greenhouse Effect” which is when the carbon gets released into the atmosphere, furthermore this causes those gases to be trapped inside the earth’s atmosphere causing multiple of the effects. Global warming is harmful to the environment because there has been an increase in global temperature, incline in natural disasters, and extinction of animals throughout the world. These factors are only a small percentage of what global warming is doing. Without human intervention global warming would not be a problem that this planet would face, it's our priority to save this planet for ourselves and for future generation.
It’s the favorite topic of politicians and news reporters: global warming. There are people who believe it’s true and others that believe it’s hype. But every day there is another fact that makes you think about the impact it may have on your life, like this month when NASA scientists reported that June of 2017 was the fourth warmest June in 137 years of record keeping. We forget that the same issues we face have more risks to wildlife. It’s becoming more well known that global warming is altering our wildlife and we must confront it before the effects are irreversible.

Global warming has been an on-going issue for many decades. Most people would argue that it is a hoax; while others argue it is true. Climate change can cause a domino effect of catastrophes throughout the world. Once it affects one group, then that affected group will affect another, and so on and so forth; like a plague. Global warming is an authentic problem and we need to find more efficient ways to eliminate it, or at least contain it.
Every generation has an event that becomes the defining factor of their generation: WWII became the defining factor for silent generation, Vietnam was the defining event for the Baby Boomers, and the overwhelming introduction of technology became the defining moment for Generation X. Millennials face a different problem, one that was caused earlier generations that they are now forced to fix; climate change. Climate change has been a topic of contention for years, many argue that the phenome is caused by humans, others believe that it is completely natural event caused only by the earth going through a natural cycle, and there are even those individuals who deny the existence of climate change. The majority of the international community accepts that climate change is caused by humans and is working to improve the global situation by implementing regulations to limit emissions, according to the Liberal Paradigm working together is the only way to create positive and lasting change.
