The fear of being killed by the ones who are supposed to protect you just keeps growing in the United States. Yes this essay is about the brushed off topic of police brutality and how it’s got to be stopped before it gets even way more out of hand. It’s just scary to think that the people who are supposed to protect you have a never ending list of just names and ages which they were responsible for killing. The ages of the deaths go to as young as 14 to all the way to 70 the lives of kids and elderly people are even being taken away and yet society and people of the United States are supposed to believe that the police are there to protect. There are a whole bunch of incidents of where the alleged suspect had been completely detained and arrested and somehow the alleged suspect turns out dead in the end of scene. This is because of all the irrational decisions which are allowed to be made by a cop. Police brutality doesn’t only pertain to one certain color but the blacks/African Americans and those of low income are who receive it and end up paying the price for it the most just because of the wide spread social and discriminatory beliefs that people of low income and blacks are all considered to be thugs and threats which then gives a police offer the irrational mind state to shoot or kill a detained or a non-threatening alleged suspect. This leads this essay to a third and often brought up argument which is “just let the police do their jobs and protect and serve”. Yes this is what the world is wanting for police officers to do but it’s plain and simple a police officer’s job is not to murder, kill or execute. There are multiple cases of which where the killings of the alleged “suspects” were ruled out to be homicides. The job of a police officer is to protect and serve police are who people of the United States should look up to as heroes and not even think twice about calling when they are in need of them but the actions of those who are supposed to protect and serve are the complete opposite how is a civilian supposed to call the police after
