Persuasive Letter To Ellen Rokwall

I hope this letter reaches you in good spirts. As stated in my previous letter that I anticipated you had time to read I expressed many concerns about Betsy DeVos. As you may know Betsy DeVos was elected as the Education Secretary. This matter is very concerning to not only students but the Education Department as a whole. I am also extremely troubled by the direction of which the county may be headed towards. I can only expect the best for students in this county being that DeVos is an advocate for charter and private schooling. My goal is for this letter to influence you take the time and look into the education and the direction of the county.

My name is Khoa Mai and I’m writing to you to actively support the nomination of Rand Paul as your party ‘s nominee for the office of President of the United States of America. Rand Paul is the only person who addressed many issues that many of his colleagues on both side of the political spectrum failed to address. Mr. Paul proposed the establishment of Economic Freedom Zones in which taxes are dramatically lowered on poor and struggling cities such as Detroit. Furthermore, he is the only Republican and Democrat candidate that has a solid plan for criminal justice reform. Rand Paul also addressed the National Security Agency scandal and he spoke on the senate floor for hours arguing against illegal and unconstitutional spying of Americans. Therefore; I’m here writing this letter in order to hoping you, with your big prestiges, would support him for the president election.

I am Mary Vang a first year 8th grade Sallisaw Middle School AVID student. Thank you for all the support you have given AVID. This program means a lot to me and your support has meant a lot for my AVID companions and me. Without AVID, I wouldn’t have seen my future farther than graduating high-school. Every college campus visit we had have so far, was an amazing experience for me which I would never forget. And again, thank you for the love and support you have given us for this year.

I genuinely appreciate you addressing your concern about the owls. I am writing to you to inform you that I will do everything in my power to make sure that no burrowing owls lose their lives in the construction of the next Mother Paula’s Pancake House. Now that this issue has been brought to my attention, I assure you, it will not be forgotten. At Mother Paula’s, all customer concerns are handled with utmost care and consideration. We will take all the necessary steps and precautions to make sure that no owl is left behind.

Lately there have been reports of African-Americans being murdered by our own race in Atlanta, Georgia. This is truly tragic and a serious blow to not only our race, but to other races as well. African-Americans need to learn that fighting each other does not help us at all. An organization should be created that will influence African-Americans to not fight each other, but help each other through the new organization, other organizations, the donations to the organizations, and the use of social media outlets.

To begin, I will be discussing money, one of the many themes in “The Living is Easy” by Dorothy West. This book is about a woman named Cleo, who grew up in an upper-class African American family. Cleo was always into the business world ever since she was a little girl. She moved to Boston and married Bart Judson also known as “The black banana king.” They have one daughter named Judy. Bart owned business that he transported bananas. He was a very productive and wealthy man, but when things took a turn for the worst, he had lost all his money leaving Cleo with the remains of it. Their marriage was solely based on money, while Cleo sisters, Charity, Lily, and Serena had it differently. They loved their husbands, so much that money was not a necessary object, and no money was involved. The sisters had visited Cleo without their spouses for most of the book making their mindsets change as well as their attitudes towards their husbands. This mindset has shown the many problems with Bart Judson’s money and revealed how careless the characters can be.

I am writing this letter to tell you that I think that there is a lot of issues in the Town of Queensbury that should be addressed and thought about. One issue I think is a problem for everyone is the speed limit on luzerne road why set a certain speed limit when nobody follows it.

To the student government of Hudson High School, I would highly suggest that you invite Elizabeth Holmes. I have met her with my father and I found her very inspirational. She takes very little blood samples to detect diabetes. She was very successful in her work and I think that she could give some very good advice. When I went with my dad to go visit her, My dad and her talked, when they were done he said that she gave him tips to work on in his medicine and on his website. Mrs Holmes attended stanford and as a freshman she worked along side of her professor, the phd, on her project. The school gave her lots of money to go on and keep working on her project.

I am writing this letter in support of Ms. Bernita Williams. I am a recent graduate of Richmond Community High School and was able to have Ms. Williams as a counselor for two out of my four years at Community. Ms. Williams is caring, hard working, and reliable which make for a great counselor. She is greatly respected by both students and faculty.

In his short story, “The Semplica-Girl Diaries”, the author George Saunders crafts an all too human tale as he shows the journal entries of the narrator, a husband and father of three who faces financial insecurity, and displays the effect money, whether in lack or excess, has on our actions and thoughts. The social setting of the story is almost identical to our current society, however there is a distinct divergence in the Semplica Girls, which are girls from impoverished backgrounds that hang from a wire in their heads as an odd, inhumane, and yet expensive, lawn ornament. In the pursuit of the “good life” for both his family and himself, the father places great importance on wealth in order to secure happiness, joy, and status through

Wao that is very nice. I know your absolutly right. I also choose the Healthcare Field but I am in the financial department. I think no matter what you do we all chip with our work. I think everybodys goal is to take care of the patient. As long as we are doing what we love to do and we are doing it from the heart it will not only be a job but it will be rewarding for us to do what we love.

You used to be great. You gave people the opportunity to live in a place with lots of rights and freedoms, but in these past few years, you have been a joke to all of the other countries in the world. Somehow, you managed to get an orange, arrogant idiot to go against a crooked criminal to become president. Out of the two choices, I believe that Trump is the lesser of the two evils because he is going to make America great again. He may be stupid, but he’s not stupid enough to break a bunch of laws. Bernie is still cool though. He should be president.
