Arjun Parmar 3155 Greer road Palo Alto, CA 94303 March 20, 2017 PAUSD School Board 25 Churchill Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94303 Dear PAUSD School Board, Have you ever needed to go to the bathroom but the bathroom is far away. Well today I would like to talk about getting a bathroom near the portable at Palo Verde. The first reason you should build closer bathrooms is because it doesn’t waste class time. Sometimes some people purposefully walk slow which wastes class time, so if the
In 2014, “groundwater makes up 60 percent of California’s water use” (Governor Brown Changes, 2014).
On August 1, 2001 you proposed the DREAM Act before the Senate. This act helps legalize immigrants and grant them citizenship. Immigrants are benefitting from this Act, however there are guidelines set in place for both conditional and permanate residency. These quidelines for conditional resident status; person must have proof that they entered United States before the age of 16 and must have continuously lived in the country for at least 5 years. Doesn’t that phrase make you cringe? Community bathrooms are one of the first things that come to mind when thinking about living in the dorms. There are so many horror stories about how filthy they are and the foot fungus that you are bound to get.
I hope this message finds you in good spirit. Dean Dalebout suggested I reach out to you regarding my interest in exploring avenues to serve the people of Michigan.
To begin this letter, I would like to thank you for donating prayer and money to support Diamond Willow Ministries. You were very much a huge part of my recent trip there, as well as the boys camp that took place through the ministry.
I hope this message finds you well. I'd like to begin this letter off topic and take the opportunity to thank you for your efforts in health care reform. The greatest nation this world has ever known has an embarrassing health care system. It's a personal desire to see that no one's life is put in jeopardy due to financial means. My effort in contacting you today is in regards to something I fear desperately as I watch it unfold. It's a touchy subject that I personally do not like to debate or discuss with others. The last thing I ever want is to be considered an advocate of a policy or practice that ultimately would be discriminatory to another group of citizens. But unfortunately, I cannot agree with the new idea of integrating women into
Most (if not all) brides want to look radiant and stunning on their wedding day. However, creating the perfect bridal look isn’t just about getting an impressive dress, hiring a professional makeup artist, and choosing a beautiful hairstyle. It’s also about buying elegant earrings and necklaces and ensuring the jewelry design matches the rest of the bride’s outfit.

First of all I would like to introduce myself, I'm Matthew Jurczykowski. And I Am currently in the 8th grade. Speaking of 8th grade this letter is one of our projects the goal is to write someone only a persuasive letter asking for someone to do something for you. So to push the letter forth, the thing I will be asking for is the ability to go on a cab ride in a Diesel locomotive on one of my next visits. I know this a large wish but I have a passion for railroading and it would be a great experience.
This only sets the students and faculty up for awkward encounters throughout the remainder of the year. The solution of leaving the stalls as they are brings about a series of issues that violate moral code and privacy policies. The upstairs restroom is ideal when taking a quick pit-stop during passing periods or during class. In this restroom, there are seven total stalls, yet only four of them lock. One trip to the bathroom during a passing period consists of waiting in a long line going out the door since only four girls are able to use the restroom at a time. Teachers encourage using the restroom during passing periods, however, time in between class is unsuitably a mere five minutes long and this does not allocate enough time for a bathroom trip. In maintaining this unacceptable system, women of Grapevine Faith walk into a stall feeling fearful and rushed as they hurry to finish before someone tries to mistakenly tug on the door of their unlocked
I nominated Mr. Macoubrie for the annual Lincoln Public Schools Thank You Teacher event. I know a lot of students say this but he assists, cares, and respects us. We respect him because he is an exceptional teacher, friend, counselor, role model and so much more. Without Mr. Macoubrie as a teacher, 7th grade would have been a lot harder. I’ve had so many times where I talked to Mr. Macoubrie about something that was bothering me or something that I had to get off my chest. He doesn't judge you for being yourself, instead he encourages us to be ourselves. The most heartwarming part of it all is that he believes in us... Some teachers say they do but he shows that he does.
As of November 7th the U.S economy added 214,000 jobs, which makes the unemployment rate down to 5.8 percent, the lowest in six years. The unemployment rate fell from 5.9% to 5.8%, which is lowest since July 2008. Hourly earnings rose three cents to $24.57 and are up just 2% over the past year, in line with the unclear increases so far in the five year recovery. Economists have been looking for a pickup in wage gains to branch more consumer spending. This recent data implies that the slow progression out of the Great Recession is gaining control. However, Americans are seeing their purchasing power rise while jobs come back thanks to falling oil prices.
Dear people present here today, I am here to persuade you to hire more people my age to your work place and I've got plenty of reasons why.
“There’s a freshman! Let’s stuff him in the trashcan!” There are so many new things that you learn during your first year of high school. These new things that you learn will either affect you or not affect you the slightest bit. When you don’t quite understand the new things you learn ask an upperclassman they have already been through what you are experiencing.
Another area that needs consideration is the horrible condition of public toilets. The shortage of public toilets is a big challenge, hence people are compelled to use open spaces to answer the call of nature. The toilets that do exist are in such pathetic condition that one cannot use them.
