For some, the idea of baking seems as menacing as the idea of drinking bleach; but to others it is an incredible way to relieve stress, show individuality, or even impress a significant other. As intimidating as baking can be, it is actually quite a simple process and if you can follow these instructions then you can achieve your baking dreams in a few simple steps. The first thing we need to do is get out our ingredients. Some people prefer to measure them out and put them in cute bowls and ceramic dishes and what not, but there are also the people that don’t want to mess with all the extra dishes and are content to just throw everything into the same bowl. Whatever you choose is fine. The cookies will not be better or worse just because you took the time to put the ingredients in separate dishes to take a picture for your social media. So now we are going to take our 2 and ¼ cups of all-purpose flour and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, ½ teaspoon of salt, 1 and ½ teaspoons of cornstarch. These are the dry ingredients of our cookies. Next, comes the wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, we are going to add ¾ cup of unsalted butter (this is roughly one and a half sticks), ¾ cup of brown sugar, ½ cup of granulated sugar. Once these three ingredients are in the bowl we are going to whisk these together to combine them all. To these wet ingredients we are going to add one whole egg, and an egg yolk. The extra egg yolk helps combine the dough and will give the cookies a softer
We live in a world where getting out of bed is a struggle but we all know, no one can say no to a warm chicken biscuit to start off their day. A special treat once in a while is always a good thing before you have to sit in a math class first thing in the morning. Providing a hot breakfast once a month would get students excited and even bring in a little extra cash for the school. Kids love anything that comes from Chick-Fil-A and would be ecstatic at the sound of having the opportunity to buy their own biscuit from Chick-Fil-A right here at school.
Before you begin, always wash your hands. First we begin by blending with the wooden spoon, in one of the large bowls the brown sugar and the one-cup white sugar. Soften the margarine or butter in the microwavable bowl in the microwave for fifteen seconds. After you add the margarine to the sugar, mix them together. Add the peanut butter to the batter then mix again. In the small cup crack each egg separately, and add the yolk part to the batter and stir. Set the mixture aside for the time being. In the other large bowl measure out and sift the flour, baking soda, and salt. Once sifted together, carefully add to the sugar and butter mixture. Blend together carefully. It may take a little elbow grease. Once completely blended, add the vanilla and stir till it is mixed on. The hard part is now over. Make sure that there are no lumps of sugar, pieces of eggshell, and clumps of baking soda. Nobody wants to bite into those! From the batter, scoop out a teaspoon size amount out and roll in your hands until it looks like a sphere. Roll it again, but this time, roll it around in 1/2 cup of white sugar until completely coated. Once achieved, place on the baking sheet. Continue this process of shaping the cookie until twelve and been formed and are two inches apart from each other on the cookie sheet. Take the fork and gently press two fork prints on each cookie, one
Hello, my name is Susan Stewart. I am a member of the Wheatland High School Grad Night Committee. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Who here didn’t have their breakfast this morning? I bet most of you did. I used to be one of those too until last month when I did a research on Biology and by chance, came across a fact about how important breakfast is. I believe that as soon as you heard the topic, you will assume that I am going to give you a life lesson as your parents do. “Breakfast is the most essential meal” is spoken by every mother, yet the reasons why we should eat breakfast have never been clarified more clearly and seriously. The following speech will highlight that breakfast is required for three main reasons; first, it helps improve our grades; second, it controls our balance diet; and more importantly; it can promote

We have a few things to talk about, i hope you have the time. Let us be fair to each other and acknowledge that there is a little tension developing between us. I don't have a clue as to why this tension is brewing, but i do know that if it continue like this the outcome will not, and cannot be great. Since we are two civilized adults, let us find a solution to this brew.
I think lunch studies are not really appropriate for school and tell you why. First of all you don’t get that much time to work. Second of all there’s really nobody here to help us. And last but not least We don’t get that much time to eat.
While the over is preheating, grab a bowl and whisk together the flour and baking powder or baking soda. In a separate bowl, combine the butter and both of the sugars; use an electric mixer at a medium speed until your batter becomes light and fluffy. When batter is at this point you can now reduce the speed of the electric mixer to low, and add the salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat these ingredients together until they are well combined. Now it is time to combine your two bowls together. After both of your bowls are combined you can add any additional ingredients, like the chocolate chips. After you have stirred everything together and created your dough, place tablespoon-sized balls of the dough on a baking sheet, these need to be at least two inches apart from one another. When your oven is preheated, place the baking sheet inside, but make not to burn yourself! Bake the cookies for about 12 to 15 minutes. When the cookies are baked to your desire, remove the pan from oven and let the cookies sit for 4 to 5 minutes. After the cookies have cooled down a bit, transfer them to a wire rack or a plate so they can cool completely. Once cooled it is time to serve and enjoy your delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Baking a cake may seem intimidating to most people but it really is not. All you need is a little creativity, patience and skill to master the task. It will prove not only to be fun but very therapeutic.

For example, using a leftover coffee can for loose nails or screws, or even washing and reusing a plastic zip-loc bag instead of throwing it in the garbage. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store. I am thankful to the person that made the donation of the lucky jeans and they can benefit from that donation. According to the IRS webpage, IRS. Gov it explains that an individual can donate items like clothing, household furniture and furnishings, a car or boat, even taxidermy. The donations are appraised, by the donator, and recorded. At the time of filing taxes if the donation equals at least $500 for the year, the donator may take advantage of the
