GENERAL IDEA: Visitors come from all over the world to experience the beauty and adventure of Hawaii. However, many local residents haven’t had the opportunity to experience all that our islands have to offer. When we travel, we like to visit unique and exciting places that all of our family members can enjoy – a destination that includes something for everybody in the family, right?



Another very real concern is the cost of an interisland vacation. 1. The problem is that many people assume that it probably costs just as much money to visit a neighbor island as it does to visit the mainland. a. It may be true that inter-island flights have increased in price over the last few years due to many factors such as the loss of Aloha Airlines and the increase in fuel costs, but there are deals if you choose wisely. It may also be true that people who are repeat visitors to towns like Las Vegas, can get special deals for expenses like hotels there, but there are also excellent Kamaaina rates for hotels, cars and attractions right here in Hawaii. Also, you’ve all heard the saying “time is money” and you’ve probably been on a trip to the mainland when you arrive too late at night from your flight to make the most of your first vacation day or too earlier in the morning that you can’t even check in to your hotel.
