Peter Capaldi , in the role of The Doctor has said “You are monsters. That is the role you seem determined to play. So it seems that I must play mine. The man that stops the monsters.” Peter Capaldi is literally saying he stops monsters. In his role of The Doctor he is an alien who fights monsters throughout time and space. Peter Capaldi has changed the world by donating to different charities. Peter Capaldi’s legacy to the world will be his being The Doctor. Doctor Who has a fairly large fanbase and he will be remembered by the fans of Doctor Who.
Peter Dougan Capaldi was born April 14, 1958 to Gerald and Nancy Capaldi in Glasgow. He went to primary school (Elementary school for America) at St. Teresa’s Primary School in Possilpark. After that he went to secondary school (Middle school for us) at St. Matthew’s in Bishopbriggs, he went to high school at St. Ninian’s in Kirkintilloch. Peter went into an acting career, he went to college at the Glasgow School of Art. Peter acted in many films, for example “In The Loop”. His interest in Doctor Who eventually got him a job, playing the main character in the TV show. Peter Capaldi and Elaine Collins were joined in marriage in the year 1991. Peter continued following his dream of someday becoming The Doctor. He wanted this because he grew up on a steady diet of Doctor Who and was very interested in it. From his interest in Doctor Who, this quote was born. “Every Viewer who ever turned on ‘Doctor Who’ has taken him into their heart. He belongs to all of us.” From this quote, it is possible to deduce that Peter Capaldi believes that Doctor Who belongs to all who watch it and that “The Doctor” should be accepted, no matter who is playing
