On Saturday, the Philadelphia Eagles along with the rest of the teams in the NFL had the dubious task of cutting their rosters down to 53 players by the 4:00 pm ET deadline. However, for the players who were placed on waivers, all 32 teams had a chance on Sunday afternoon to claim them.
In terms of the Eagles, they were awarded three players off the waiver wire. According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Eagles claimed New England Patriots linebacker rookie Kamu Grugier-Hill and were awarded former Baltimore Ravens safety Terrence Brooks and former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Bryce Treggs, according to 97.5 The Fanatic's Geoff Mosher.
Out of the three players that were claimed, Grugier-Hill and Brooks could make an immediate impact. Grugier-Hill was drafted in the sixth round of this past year's draft and showed that he could play in the NFL, by making plays on defense and special teams as a gunner.

free safety out of Florida State. Over the last two seasons with Baltimore, Brooks played in 23 games, while compiling 26 total tackles, three pass deflections and a forced fumble.
Finally, Treggs is a speedy wideout out of the University of California. Over his four years at Cal, Treggs' best season came in 2015 as a senior, where he had 45 receptions for 956 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
At his pro day, Treggs ran outstanding 4.39 40-yard dash, which intrigued the 49ers enough to sign him as an undrafted free agent. Reportedly, the 49ers wanted to put him on the practice squad but the Eagles claimed him.
However, with the Eagles claiming these three players, they will now have to make corresponding moves to the 53-man
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, when asked about Blount's job security Pederson said "The guy's a beast of a runner." He also added that he expects Blount to be "a big part of the Eagles' offense."
Despite being a perianal playoff contender, the team has a need at the wide receiver position. New England has lacked a legitimate deep threat since losing Randy Moss during the 2010 season. Imagine inserting Thomas into an offense that already has Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. Thomas would most almost always be matched up against single coverage. With his speed, size, and acceleration Thomas would thrive in this situation. Playing in New England would not only benefit him, but it would also provide the organization with a number one receiver for the next decade. As I mentioned earlier since losing Moss, the teams go-to, deep threat receiver has looked like a revolving door. The team has often brought in a new face every season to take on this role. Thomas would bring the team stability at this

He led the football team to three straight title games, but sadly could not manage to lead his team to victory in any of the games.
The Carolina Panthers found themselves a star in Kelvin Benjamin drafting him 28th overall in 2014 draft. We took him 28th overall I think he has already become a steal for the Panthers and Dave Gettleman who is a great evaluator of talent. He took the NFL by storm becoming quarterback Cam Newton's favorite target right away and for good reason; setting Panther rookie records for receptions receiving yards and touchdowns with 79 catches 1008 yards and nine touchdowns.
he started playing football when he was a freshman in college but he was not a starter but he got enough time in to earn varsity letter . His high point of the season was in the Orange Bowl where in quarterback relief he completed eight of 12 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.
He racked up collegiate sack records during his 4 years in campus. He was drafted by the New York Giants during the second round pick in the NFL Draft of 1993. He initially played only 9 games due to injuries. He even missed the 2 playoff games. He had a breakout year in 1997.
Simeon James Rice; for nearly ten years the name drove fear into opposing defenders with the same force that Rice drove Quarter Backs into the ground. The 1996 3rd overall pick by Arizona racked up an impressive career and a plethora of awards and accolades in a career a decade long, most of that spent with our beloved Buccaneers.
The Philadelphia Eagles are football team with tons of history, and great information. First, the were first founded in 1924 as the “Frankford Yellowjackets.” Bert Bell is the founder of the Frankford Yellowjackets he invested his own money into this team. After seven years of the team competing in AFL football the team went bankrupt in 1931. The city of Philadelphia was loving the football thing, and they demanded a team. A group led by Bert Bell founded the Philadelphia Eagles. They were one of the first teams in the NFL, and the commissioner of the NFL was Bert Bell. Going through many difficult season the Eagles won their first NFL championship in 1960, led by quarterback Norm Van Brocklin. After that the Eagles had bad times in the
They brought in an entirely new coaching staff, and they allocated more than $30 million for a free-agent receiver in Robert Woods. Austin was given a four-year, $42 million extension weeks before the start of the 2016 season. But there is only $5 million in dead money tied to his contract after this year, which means they can easily part ways with Austin if he doesn’t fit McVay’s scheme.Austin is the second-highest paid player on the roster for the 2017 season and is a lofty $14.9 million cap hit. However, his cap number drops to just $8 million after this year. That’s the same amount Robert Woods will make in 2018.For comparison, the Rams will certainly not waive their wideout this season. It would cost $19.9 million to cut him in 2017.
Tomlinson was now a horned frog. Before Ladanian got there they only appeared in one bowl game in the previous 12 seasons and only 2 in the last 32 seasons. He played his college ball at Michigan State University where he was consider a solid if not great wide-receiver and kick return man. In fact, it was his kick returning abilities that caught the eye of several scouts around the NFL. When his career with the Spartans was completed, he entered the 2012 NFL draft.
Once drafted, Hernandez quickly proved his merit as a professional football player. He had 45 catches in his rookie year, which was a team record for tight ends, helping the Patriots secure the AFC Championship. In his second year, along with Rob Gronkowski, he led the Patriot offense with 24 touchdowns and 2,237 receiving yards, helping secure his team’s position in Super Bowl XLVI. He was injured in his third year, but was still positioned to become a team leader, which was recognized by the Patriots with his sizable signing bonus (A&E, 2015).
When he went to the NFL the Cardinals drafted him to begin with after his rookie contract was about up the Rams offered him a big contract but he turned it down because the Cardinals were the only team that believed in him.
“He’s a straight out football player,” wide receiver David Sills said. “You saw that last week in the Virginia Tech game, him making plays with his feet, doing other things. He’s much more than just a quarterback. He’s just a ball player. That’s what he is.”
The Big 12 rushing leader last season, Smallwood's strong test numbers don't quite translate to the field, but he's a well-rounded back with a solid pass pro and receiving skills. Doug Pederson will find a way to get him in the rotation often next season. --Mark Dulgerian
