Have you ever felt as though you couldn't get through something in life? Whether it had something to do with getting work done or trying not to give up on something. Throughout my experiences I have come across these type of barriers all the time but for me it specifically has to do with physical work, the day I met a NAVY Seal, life changed afterwards. This specific day I was at the gym with a couple friends of mine who all wanted to get in shape, for the most part all of us were in pretty good shape, or so we thought. We were there not even an hour when we all became exhausted, however there was a man who came to give us a life lesson that I will never forget. After my friends and I seemed to have been done for the day the older man came
On a two-hour bus ride to a small, rural town in New Zealand with my school, we passed by numerous beautiful rolling hills and forests. While my classmates chatted, listened to music, and watched the landscape, I kept my eyes focused downward on my AP Physics binder. It was the summer before senior year, and instead of fully enjoying the month-long community service trip to a foreign country, I also focused on self-studying AP Physics 1 and 2. Because my school requires a prerequisite physics class before enrolling in AP Physics C, I had to learn an entire year’s worth of material over the summer. At the end of my Junior year when I was contemplating taking the harder physics class, one of the physics teachers told me, “No one has jumped straight into Physics C in many years, but I think you can do it.”
Many people go through struggles in life that they just can’t seem to overcome. However, it is when you find that on reason or one drive in your life that gives you the determination to overcome whatever that obstacle is.
My favorite ENG 102 project was how radioactive elements released into the Atlantic Ocean affected marine life due to the Fukushima nuclear reactors. As much as I struggled with writing and formatting my paper it was very rewarding none the less. Interesting enough I found who I was when I was looking for research articles about the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. It was privy to me that I was fascinated about the bazar techniques used to harness energy through nuclear fusion and fission. When I began my voyage I believed that these technical details about nuclear reactors was not something I was going to enjoy, but necessary for my report. I was wrong. I was fascinated; I completely submerged myself in nuclear chemistry. I read papers
There are many things that can hold people back from goals that they are determined to accomplish. Despite these hardships and dilemmas that we face, if we have fight in us and the correct work ethic we are bound to succeed. I personally have faced my share of obstacles in my life and have been through plenty of hardships. However, I always overcome them in one way or another. For example, when I first walked the halls of Harlingen High School I entered as a shy but ambitions freshman with a lot of friends and unfortunately a lot of enemies. I was always put down due to play playing ability in band. I constantly tried to get better and better and that’s when freshman region auditions came along. I was excited to be able to actually compete
Every person encounters various roadblocks throughout life. Some of these impediments could be brought by societal mindsets, others from mental and physical aspects of life, but they are all similar in one way-you can only move on to achieve your goals by overcoming these blockages.

All people have come across challenges, some challenges can be conquered and some of them cannot. My challenge was given to me when I was born and that challenge is a disability called muscular dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy is a group of genetic diseases that cause continuous weakness of the muscles, so in other words I lose strength as time flies by. I started to notice weakness in my early childhood, when I was ten years old. An example of me noticing my disability starting to kick in was when I was running for physical education, and I felt like I was connected to a parachute. As the years went by things that took physical strength started to get harder. For example, running, walking, lifting objects, and getting up off of chairs. I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when I was about thirteen years old. This disability is a challenge for me because it gets in the way of me doing many things that other people with the strength can do.
“The road ahead waits for your journey, you just got to take the first step.” High Tech High School is my road to success. Not only will it fulfill my academic needs, but will help me stay on the right track as a dancer and an individual. As a girl who has gone to Catholic school her whole life, I question going to a public school. Why should I go down this road? Because High Tech is not your average high school. It gives people the opportunity to be surrounded by those who share your same passion. People who are going down the same road.
In the human’s life it is a given that individuals will face obstacles. These obstacles may not arise on a daily basis but no matter how hard we may try avoid them they will still find us. According to Anna Harrington, author of Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way, an individual's mental state has the biggest influence on whether we can overcome the obstacles or be stuck dealing with them for long periods of times.
Some things in life can be difficult. We are put under an extreme amount of pressure every day with being successful. An obstacle in my life that I will always remember is being Colonel of my Drill Team my senior year in high school. Since my freshman year my director had her eye on me. She could sense my ambition, determination, and maturity. The pressure was on the day I tried out. Then came the day of officially becoming colonel. This was a huge achievement for me considering I wasn 't sure if I was healthy enough to take this on. I knew this was a huge responsibility and I had a lot to face. My director had very high expectations for me from the very start. Things were rough for awhile. I was learning and my director was helping. We had a hard

Most people have grown up differently and had either a good or bad childhood. Those people will become a successful person or not a successful person when they are an adult. Career in mechanical engineering involves grappling with various aspects of the technical and practical work. The job of a mechanical engineer involves widespread handling of machines and components which have a direct relation with power by producing it, transmitting it or even making use of power. The major concern of mechanical engineers is bent towards ways and mechanisms through which natural energy sources are converted into uses of practical nature. As part of their work, mechanical engineers seek to come up with tools that are vital for other engineers to make use of them as they go about their daily routine. In order to work effectively, mechanical engineers need to work in a team of scientists and experts in
