Introduction
A. Background of the Study
A Pineapple is a fruit wherein you have to peel off the peelings to eat it, like any other fruits. The researchers chose this as their project to prove that Pineapple peelings have other uses. The researchers also noticed that the families in our country are very practical nowadays. Instead of throwing the peelings away, many families can earn something from it by using our experiment. They can produce a product and maybe start a business or they can produce it for their own use. The pineapple is an example of a multiple fruit: multiple, spirally-arranged flowers along the axis each produce a fleshy fruit that becomes pressed against the fruits of adjacent flowers, forming what appears to be a single fleshy fruit. The leaves of thecultivar 'Smooth Cayenne' mostly lack spines except at the leaf tip, but the cultivars 'Spanish' and 'Queen' have large spines along the leaf margins. Pineapples are the only bromeliad fruit in widespread cultivation. It is one of the most commercially important plants which carry out Crassulacean acid metabolism, or CAM photosynthesis.

Fruits such as grapes, oranges, and pineapples have a pulp texture which causes extreme pain for me during digestion. Fruits such as bananas and peaches are less painful, so I plan to identify more fruits like these to incorporate in my diet. I have had pleasant experiences with fruit yogurt cups and V8 Fusion in the past, so I plan to use these to meet my appropriate fruit intake.
I chose the topic “food” because is a very essential factor of the human life. The United States surrounds itself with a variety of fast food chains that causes obesity and death. In order to prevent the negative health risks, there must be amends made. Finley suggested that growing your own food benefits you, your health, your health, and even your children.

A big part of life is eating and many people find pleasure in doing so. Having an understanding for a healthy diet is a large part of nutrition. Eating a variety of fruit gives individual a better chance of consuming all the nutrients and dietary fibre they need which could help prevent major health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity and certain cancers (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2012).
I think a simple change in eating fresh fruit and vegetables that my family has personally grown will be great for me and my family. It’s one small change but it could really impact where my health ends

In this experiment, the concentration of acetic acid in a sample of vinegar was calculated. The sample used for the experiment was sample 4, created on 2/22/2017. The concentration was calculated by titrating the vinegar with NaOH. Unfortunately, NaOH does not form a pure solution so its concentration also had to be calculated. This was done by using it to titrate a solution of KHP, which does form a pure solution. Once the concentration of NaOH was known, it could be used to calculate the mols of acetic acid in a known volume of vinegar, giving us the concentration.
