Animation is so much more than what we think or know about it. It is an art that challenges the way we look at the world. It brings a new level of realism and imagination to our bleak, everyday lives. According to Merriam Dictionary, animation is, “a way of making a movie by using a series of drawings, computer graphics, or photographs of objects (such as puppets or models) that are slightly different from one another and that when viewed quickly one after another create the appearance of movement” (Merriam). Frame by frame, animation requires countless hours of attention to make seconds or even minutes of work that can make up a full-length film.
