Frederic Mors, who claimed to be responsible for all these eight murders, confessed his own guilt in front of the district attorneys. [Rumors, suspicions, and anecdotes, a confession by a suspect who might just be crazy, weren’t enough to charge a man with murder.]” (Blum 13).
The “Philadelphia Poison Ring” in 1938 was caused by two people, cousins that were career criminals from Philadelphia. The leader was Herman Petrillo, but his cousin Paul Petrillo was also highly involved. Paul was known for insurance scams his entire life, and another cousin named Morris Bobler also joined and was highly involved in the process. Herman and Paul Petrillo were the two people responsible for this as they were convicted of 70 murders. Some being drownings and most being poisonings. Also, because it contains no anti-inflammatory properties, it is not a member of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, also known as NSAIDs.
While Ralph Waldo Emerson believes a weed "is a plant whose virtues haven't been discovered" weeds are "a wild plant growing where it is not wanted and in competition with cultivated plants." When a plant or animal is physically moved by humans to an environment whey they didn’t naturally occur they are known as introduced species, also called alien species. Introduced species have been a vital aspect in the fight against biodiversity loss, controlling of invasive species and adaptation to climate change. An introduced species can be an essential part of conservation when a native species that plays a significant role in an ecosystem becomes extinct. However, on the other hand, introduced species can be immense, insidious, and usually irreversible.
