“That’s because I’m not in any Pokemon Mythology. I am from a world different from yours to challenge you.” Anubis got up to his feet, his staff twirls in his hand before he slammed its bottom tip to the ground and send a small shock wave blowing the purple haze around them away. “To challenge me? Is that all you care about?” Xavier asked curiously while maintaining his guards. His hand cannons were now preparing to fire should hostility escalate any further. “Oh you are a wise one. I do have a purpose for coming here. But you must force it out me.” The Jackal God taunted his robotic foe, who in turn gave Anubis a double tap with his hand cannons. Anubis dodged the incoming fire by jumping upwards and make a power slam with his feet that
"Honestly, I don't plan to kill you," Charles murmured, stepping past Brandon with the anti-necrolyze rifle in his hands. "You took away my ability to take care of my family, so I guess it's just fair if I do the same to you. Now, you get to feel the helplessness I've experienced." And he walked away with a guffaw. "How satisfying!"
“Shoteka! We can not go around starting fights with the Choctaw boys. Who knows what will happen!” She scolded me. I put my hands up defensively.
Fred scratched his chin, conjuring up a weak response, “Curious. I need to report back to my commanding officers, and they also need my
"You don't really think that… 'threat' scares me." Graced with a serious expression, Loki leaned his chin against the back of his hand, resting his elbow on his knee as he scanned the agent. "No, you're not that daft."
Imagine a superhero, such as Spiderman. Everyday, Spiderman has a different foe he fights against. In Greek mythology, this process works the same way. The gods and goddesses of Greek mythology had many foes, usually being monsters. The monsters in Greek mythology were known to destroy people, damage different cities, or cause all kinds of havoc. The Gorgons, Lamia, and Hydra, are few of many monsters that were menaces to society.
“We want to know the truth why would they invade our planet” Dom asked angrily.
One of the most interesting qualities of Greek mythology is probably the depiction of monsters in the myths. However, these monsters are not all unique. In fact, they all fall into very distinct categories, making them almost the same. Most monsters in Greek mythology look and act in the same ways. Several monsters from these myths look the same in that they have very similar qualities such as being large, snake or human like. However, they are also very alike in that they behave in very similar ways, from guarding something or roaming freely and causing chaos. Generally, the monsters in Greek mythology follow this outline and are depicted in a way to show these qualities.
"They will love me or be swept aside. And trust me, if they force me to do so, I will shove them aside." "With due respect, might I make a suggestion?" Cuthbert asked. Fear and Intimidation paled his features.
“Great, ascend to the battlegrounds with your telepathy power. By the way, your powers have been increased to Corporal levels, so you can fight however you please.”
“How...how did you...how..”Zeus stuttered. Poseidon shoots him a smug smile and moves his hand as a huge wave emerged behind Zeus. Zeus turns around to see a hundred-fifty foot wave towering above him. The wave crashed down and moments passed by without him emerging from the
The nobleman who’d brought them there- Charles couldn’t recall his name, and barely noted him as one of his step-father’s friends- looked at him with a mix of surprise and annoyance in his eyes, raising an eyebrow at him. “Have you a protest, young Xavier?” he asked, voice edged with venom, though he tried to seem falsely pleasant. Charles could read the heat of his mind, though, and chose to combat it with placidity, as he always did.
“You’re good, just what I expect from Sycamore’s hard work.” Anubis commented with a pleasing look in his eyes, he almost sounds like he had let himself be hit by Xavier’s attack. The god then got up to his feet, when he saw Xavier was dashing towards him. The god would then flinch to the right hand side and grab Xavier’s left arm and throw him on the ground. Anubis took this opportunity and whipped out his wooden staff from thin air, the jackal God twirls the
Ancient civilizations have used various tactics, such as pictographs or writing systems, to document important events. However, only few civilizations have actually used mythology to write about the “truth”, one of them being the people of the ancient Japanese civilization. The truth is a representation of how each civilization views the beginning of the world and how it affects the civilization today. Although some parts of mythology seem outrageous and clearly not based on scientific fact, there are evidences that prove some events mentioned within mythologies have actually happened seen in present day Japan. Japanese mythologies have incorporated historical truth into their mythologies. This is important because understanding the past allows for cultural development in the future.
When people think of mythology they usually get an idea of gods’ monsters and magic. However people don’t realize how mythology is so connected to the existence of humanity and how we will grow and fall as a species. It’s not the easiest concept for us as a species to wrap our heads around but these stories in mythology almost tells us how our future might end up. David Leeming has a definition for mythology that states, humans are always on a quest for fulfillment in the face of entropy. Entropy is the idea that we are always moving toward chaos and disorder. Based on what I’ve seen and read in mythology it almost seems like these stories and ideas but me more relevant than we actually believe.
“Oh these? They’re for the beasts! Oh, and you don't need to be so polite here, there ain't no rules!” Logan cheered.
