There were many positive and negative outcomes of the Industrial Revolution. Some of the negatives was that there was pollution, terrible working conditions, and poverty. However, some of the positives would be new technological advancements and Labor Unions. As a result of The Industrial Revolution, there was more of a negative effect than a positive one.
There were lots of negative outcomes of the Industrial Revolution. One example: the terrible working conditions in which employers didn’t want to spend money to make things better, so dangerous working environments worsened. Another negative outcome was pollution. Pollution occurred from all the CO2 emissions into the atmosphere from dirty factories. Finally, under payment is another negative
As Stephen Gardiner once said, “The industrial revolution was another one of those extraordinary jumps forward in the story of civilization.” The Industrial Revolution was in fact an extraordinary jump in the development of the U.S. It created a foundation for what the U.S is today socially, economically, and politically. The Industrial Revolution played a major role in the industrialization and modernization and still has effects to this day. These effects lead to more trade, better transportation, and modernization. It also had had many negative effects on America and England as well. These effects mainly focus on the social side of the Industrial Revolution. These effects include child labor, unfair wage, poor living conditions and poverty. When both the positive and negative effects are put together as a whole, the positive effects outweigh the negative. Mainly because they had a bigger effect on America and the world as a whole, and still affect us today. Because of the Industrial Revolution wages are more fair, living conditions are better, Manufacturing has drastically improved and children are no longer allowed to work in factories.
While some may argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because there was new inventions, the Industrial Revolution had actually negative outcomes on society. The negative effects of Industrialization included pollution, poverty, and unfortunate conditions inside the home and inside factories. These factors would impact the lives of immigrants and overall change the way we view society and prevent future outbreaks. And although the people living in this period did not know it yet, the new innovations being invented would change the world for the worse.
The Industrial Revolution brought about great changes in how goods were produced and consumed, but it also brought about social and political changes. Some were positive, such as machines relieving much of the toil previously placed on worker’s muscles. But there were also negative changes.
One negative effect of the Industrial Revolution was the poor working conditions in factories which were a big problem during the Industrial Revolution. Many people worked in factories, which had very tight spaces and poor lighting. Many
The Industrial Revolution was a positive time in history. Throughout this time period because or three main reasons innovation; they invented many things we use today and things that changed how we lived. Second, the growth in population this incorporated for families to make more money and companies to rise up. Finally, the revolution made the standard of life so much better. People were able to travel and live in comfort
Although the Industrial Revolution had many good things about it, it has more negative things than positive. The Industrial Revolution has more negative than positive. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because of medical advances it was actually a negative thing for society. Industrialization’s negative effects were pollution a danger to environments, harsh working hours, and child labor.
All in all the industrial revolution had a positive effect on society, accomplishing things many do not realize and creating a turn of events that would put the USA as the world power. New farming methods meant better diets, which lead to lower death rates. Efficient and useful inventions, as well as machinery, made it easier for people to work, and made more job opportunities, as well as enjoyment in the workplace. More and easier ways of travel became commonplace, such as railroads. In addition, as cities began to grow, streetlights provided safety at night, and our economy grew greatly. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because it caused children to be used as workers and made school
Because of the better diets people generally wear healthier and stronger and lived longer lives. While the industrial revolution had many positive impacts on our history, there were many negative effects that arguably outweighed the positive. Although there were a lot of positives, the Industrial Revolution brought many negative impacts. One negative impact was that since the factory workers were hired at such a young age and work very long hours their bones got used to such hard manual labor (doc. 1).
In the Industrial Revolution there was negative impacts and positive impacts in the 1800’s. For example, like our positive impacts were that production increased, cheaper goods, plus new products and many new inventions like iron for railroads and etc. The negative impacts were over population, lots of disease and people made invention of dynamite and etc.
The Industrial Revolution, as described by Stephen Gardiner, was “another of those extraordinary jumps forward in the story of civilization.” During this time period, some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society. Industrialization involved the use of child labor, negatively affected the environment, and had harsh working conditions in factories. However, I will counter that it actually had a greater positive effect for society. As a result of Industrialization, the United States rose to become the world’s largest economic power and people were able to enjoy new amenities that weren’t previously available.
Overall, the industrialization had a greater negative effect than positive effect on society for many reasons. The revolution had many positives that came with it, but I thought that there were just more negatives that overrode it in the long run. While some might argue that industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because child labor laws were not being abused was actually a negative thing for society. Industrialization’s negative effects were bad working conditions, unfair working/ labor rights, and separation from life. I would stress that one of the main things that was negative for society is the water borne disease, which killed more people than the war did.
The Industrial Revolution European society has been transformed greatly by the Industrial Revolution. Some of the changes were positive there were also negative ones. The positive changes benefitted the wealthy and the working class, while the negative affected the poor. These changes definitely affected society whether they were negative or positive. Some positive changes were an increase of jobs and a steady economy, as well as growing businesses.
While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of child labor, it was actually a positive thing for society. Industrialization’s positive effects were efficient and useful inventions, an easier way to travel, and new and more job opportunities. Over the past few years, the world has changed dramatically. New things were being discovered and new inventions are starting to get even better. It was all caused by the Industrial Revolution that changed many people’s lives around the 1800s.
The Industrial Revolution began in England during the late 1700s. It came with a wide range of both positive and negative effects for the economy and the people. Looking back from today, the Industrial Revolution was definitely a positive thing, as people now have a high standard of living with lots of conveniences. One must also acknowledge the people living during the Industrial Revolution and how they viewed the Industrial Revolution as a bad thing that came with many negative effects. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of the terrible living conditions and hazardous working conditions, it was actually a positive thing for society. Industrialization’s positive effects
All in all, the second industrial revolution was essentially a positive thing because many benefits came out of it such as new ideas, innovations, and inventions. Every new thing they had discovered led to a newer discovery. This is why we have all of the advances in technology, machinery, and
