Politics, social status, and way of living back then all played essential roles in the trials which are discussed throughout the book “Salem Possessed” by Paul Boyer and Stephen Nissenbaum. The authors touch upon how social status of church members, farmers and community folk impacted who was accused of witchcraft and who was sentenced to death. While times have changed and the laws regarding imprisonment are very different, it is essential to remember that while the techniques and methods used during the witch trials were common back then and just their way of life.
For this informational interview assignment, I interviewed Adam Kohlmeier who is the self-employed investor who currently working on entering the real estate business. When I started looking in to who I should interview for this assignment I decided to ask some friends and people around me if they knew anybody who was a businessman with a financial aspect and I got back a lot of names and one of the names that showed up a couple times was Mr. Kohlmeier. The people that mentioned him all have gone to him for financial advice or just to talk about the stock market. Reaching out to Mr. Kohlmeier not sure what to expect but he graciously excepted the interview and along the way he gave me some great information about business, investing and what are some of the things it takes to be successful when you work for yourself.

He was a hard working individual who helped his family through the depression, started his own business from almost nothing and changed the field of management for ever.
He first became a success within his field, making millions. This wasn’t easy of course. He worked really hard to achieve it and even lost it once and had to rebuild it once again. Once he become successful he sought out other influencers to teach him how to utilize social media to increase his outreach. What is Evidentialism? “As evidentialism is a thesis about epistemic justification, it is a thesis about what it takes for one to believe justifiably, or reasonably, in the sense thought to be necessary for knowledge” (Mittag). Now what does that mean in order for someone to believe in something, they must see the real proof have hardcore evidence. One famous argument about evidentialism is by William Kingdon Clifford, (born May 4, 1845, Exeter, Devon, England—died March 3, 1879, Madeira Islands, Portugal) British philosopher and mathematician. Although he was most famous for his work as a mathematician, Clifford also wrote, “The locus classicus for the ethics of belief debate is, unsurprisingly, the essay that christened it. “The Ethics of Belief” was published, in a journal called Contemporary Review.”(Chingell)
Prior to attending the University of St. Thomas, Jon grew up locally, right here in the Twins Cities. He had a passion for design and thought he’d pursue a career as an architect. However, like many (myslef included) calculous was not his cup of tea and had to divert to another career path. That path was within real estate. He has been able to utalize his eye for design and help future home buyers visualize what their house would look like with some constructional modifications. As he gained more experience in the field, he fell in love with the flexibility that came with his career path. He mentioned that he loved not being constrained by a cubical and enjoys interacting with people and the outside world. He hope to be able to flip hounders of houses one day.
