Realizing their potential, Bismarck and Moltke engineered strategic conflicts with neighbouring states to elevate Prussia’s ability to control its national interests. Making use of Bismarck and Moltke’s respective diplomatic and tactical genius, Prussia harnessed its industrial might and began its mission of continental domination.
