POWER OF FEAR
What is fear?
Fear is "an unpleasant and often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger."Fear is completely natural and helps people to recognize and respond to dangerous situations and threats.
Fear may be a threat to our success. Once you have fear on a certain thing, then you would think not to do it. Sometimes if opportunity comes and we think of the consequences, most of the opinions we have in our mind are negative and we then decide not to do it. What if that opportunity is the key for your success, then you will not be able to achieve success and you will start on blaming on yourself why you quit?, why you didn 't do it?
Some people are scared of being trapped for so long, but yet

Next time you feel nervous, anxious, afraid, or uncertain, I challenge you to dig deep and look what’s underneath those feelings.
Are you nervous to apply for that job because you’re afraid of rejection? What if you don’t get the job? Does that mean you’re not good enough and that you’ll never experience the career success you long for?
Of course this isn’t true, but it’s far too common to indulge in harmful self-talk. In most cases, it comes down to thinking that you’re not worthy to experience happiness or success.
Be honest with yourself and identify what’s at the root of your fear.
Now take that negative statement and write an empowering statement that’s the opposite of your limiting belief.
For example, if your limiting belief is “I don’t deserve to experience true success because I haven’t worked hard enough,” flip it and write the reverse:
“I deserve to experience success on my own terms, all while having fun and living in abundance along the way!”
Say this affirmation out loud every morning when you’re getting ready to start your day.
Better yet, look yourself in the mirror and repeat it proudly, 10 times!
Sound cheesy? Yeah, maybe it is a bit cheesy. But, it works and besides, nobody has to know that you talk to yourself in the mirror!
2. Weigh your options.
Make a pros and cons list of what would happen if:
You pursued your passions and vision, despite your fear You choose to maintain status quo
Fear is an emotion that many people around the world for many years have dealt with. Fear can sometimes be harmful, but, on the other hand, many people also believe that fear is not always a harmful emotion. Fear can help keep one safe from danger. However, certain amounts of fear can cause harm to the body. It all just depends on how well you deal with it.
Someone once told me “no other version of the truth has ever mattered to me” and no other statement is more appropriate than this, now.
Maybe you don’t have a specific set of claims or beliefs you want your audience to adopt. Even if you do, provide brief responses to the following:
Fear is something everyone feels at some point in their life. Fear is a feeling that your body produces in dangerous, threatening, or scary situations. It is the ability to identify danger and make a choice to either confront that fear or flee from the situation. Why do we human act in strange ways when reacting to fear in a negative way. Fear is a rash feeling that cause affect on humans. Fear would negatively affect people in ways to make them to unrashinal things. Positive things that can come out of fear is being alert and being more self aware.
In Machiavelli’s “Prince” he discussed the use of fear as a political tool to maintain the state. He argued that fear when properly directed could generate loyalty and bolster the support of the government. He went on to write that fear was only powerful when wielded with care and when abused could quickly become counterproductive and result in being hated by the people. Fear was potent because it was the prince’s creation. Unlike love that is given to the prince and can easily be taken away, fear is the prince’s tool and his alone. “…men love at their own free will but fear at the will of the prince…” Politicians throughout history have used fear tactics with varying degrees of success. For the purpose of my argument I will compare
What is fear? Fear is a particular state of mind than can be originated from a realistic circumstance or a sense
On the evening of June 17th, 2015, a twenty one year old white man identified as Dylann Roof opened fire, killing nine African-Americans attending a Bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. As friends and family members mourn for their tragic losses, people blame this attack on the ‘insane’ individual, however failing to recognize that this wholly racist crime is the product of self destructive America. The motivation sparking this vicious felony is alike for all man-made decisions; a product of induced fear.
The emotion of which we speak of is fear. Like other emotions, Fear serves a useful purpose. But when given a little power, Fear quickly becomes a sensualist for power. As it becomes more powerful, it morphs into a monstrous being and takes over a person’s life. Some may not know what they are afraid of yet, but everyone is afraid of something big or small. It can be something as small as the
Fear is a feeling induced by experience, perceived danger, or watching a frightening traumatic accident. The fear responses arise from the perception of danger and ultimately a change in behaviour, such as fleeing, or hiding or from perceived traumatic events. Every person has fears and different fears may be different adaptations that have been useful in our evolutionary past. I have fears too, and sometime, I feel embarrassed to intersperse my fear with others.
In “The Certainty of Fear” by Audra Kendall, the author chronicles the fears we have throughout our lifetime. Starting with the fears of childhood and then adolescence, progressing to a mid-life crisis and concluding with the fears of our senior years; I can relate to these fears but I don’t remember much of my younger years. For me, my greatest fears started as an adolescent and continue now into the mid years of my life and further into the future of my senior years.
People don't realize the power that positive affirmations have on your life. I too am guilty of not believing that affirmations would help my situation but I was wrong. I was at the point in my life where I had low self esteem and I was hard on myself. I didn't think good things would ever happen to me because I had been through so much. I know everyone can relate to this at some point in life.
That's not good news if you want to improve your life and become more successful. You need to find some crack in your belief system that allows you to see a potential for the outcome you want. The good news is that we CAN change our beliefs. We are not doomed to believe something for the rest of our
According to my dictionary, Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. When the word "fear" comes to my mind, I think of an emotion that's caused by a bad situation. There are many things in this world that put fear in me. My greatest fears are computer viruses, thugs, sick people, and clowns. Each of these fears make me very scared and give me goosebumps.
It may be naïve to focus solely on reducing negative self-talk as it is important for a balance of positive and negative thoughts for well-being and your state-of-mind (Schwartz & Garamoni, 1986). As research indicates that negative self-talk is not associated with reduced performance therefore there
To me, Dr. Deming’s 8th point “Driving Out Fear,” means several different aspects that helps a company reach a Total Quality Management position. When employees have fear, it creates an environment that does not allow everyone to work effectively. By eliminating fear, the workers are able to build trust with each other, have less hesitation when change is scheduled to occur, and also achieve better quality by allowing workers to feel secure in their position. Employees will more comfortable and safe in their position, allowing them to work more efficiently. This sense of relief is crucial, it now allows the employee to fully focus on their respective tasks rather and no longer have second thoughts about communicating with team. Instead they understand that the people they work for as well as work with have confidence in them and they are all part of the team. This encourages them to have a higher sense of empowerment, and share any and all ideas they believe may help the company operate better.
