That should always be one of the last things if necessary, I fell everyone who goes into a dangerous situation should know every outcome possible and they should be prepared to deal with most of those. There should be preparation classes before every dangerous activity that you must pass that would teach you basic survival. It would help out alot and cut down the amount of tax payers money that we waste on rescue missions that could've been easily avoided if people just learned basic knowledge and became somewhat certified before going on these types of adventures.
This paper examines a case study about the transfer of knowledge between preparedness and emergency response as conducted by Kerstin Erikkson of Lund, Sweden University. Erikkson (2009) conducted the case study by analyzing emergency response following Gudrun, a storm with hurricane force wind gusts that struck the South of Sweden in January 2005. This disaster caused significant damage to the region 's critical infrastructure, such as roadways, railways, telecommunications systems, and electrical power supply. The storm also resulted in power outages for roughly three-quarters of a
cause injury. Self-defense training includes skills such as awareness, assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, safety strategies, and physical techniques that enable someone to successfully escape, resist, and survive violent attacks. With the skills learned from them classes, first responders will learn how to successfully deal with aggressive patients or bystanders by using all the skills they learned from the courses. Departments need to create policies to cover these circumstances and guarantee that their work force receives defensive tactics particularly for those who work into high-risks areas.

Emergencies- make sure all personnel is familiar with what to do in case of an accident
To reduce the hazards of the security of the children in the setting all staff needs to have an up to date DBS check and safeguarding training. Another form of hazards to the security of the children and young people in the setting is things like doors, all doors need to be locked with a key out of reach of the children so they can’t get out and people who don’t have reason to be in the setting can’t get in the setting can’t get in. The same with
The tactical background that the education would give first responders would help them stay safer in an active hot zone and help them come up with tactical priorities on a scene. Five points to evaluate for risk/ benefit analysis would be:
First, Incident Response (IR) plan “is a detailed set of processes and procedures that anticipate, detect, and mitigate the effects of an unexpected event that might compromise information resources and assets.” (Whitman, 2013, p. 85). Consequently, Incident response planning (IRP) is the planning for an incident, which occurs when an attack affects information systems causing disruptions. On the other hand, Disaster Recovery (DR) plan “entails the preparation for and recovery from a disaster, whether natural or human-made.” (Whitman, 2013, p. 97). For instance, events categorized as disasters include fire, flood, storm or earthquake. Thus, the differences between an Incident Response (IR) plan and a Disaster Recovery (DR)
Employees are unaware of which policies and procedures are current and have not received training on them in 2 years
2- Know what to do when children or young people are ill or injured, including emergency procedures.
As an official I use a S.W.O.T analyses of our event, and communicate with the public and the media for a clear and transparent agenda that is safe and organized for the public.
Having self-awareness during emergency situations is a vital piece to protecting yourself as well as others. It is crucial to be aware of signs that will lead to endangerment such as a fire alarm going off. As a medical assistant, it is important to help patients evacuate the building safely as fast as possible, but in order to do that, you must protect yourself and your coworkers. Therefore, having an easy to understand strategic evacuation plan will be beneficial in efficiently removing patients from the building. Communicating with your team as well as the patients to make sure everyone understands what to do is important. When you are evacuating, always remain as low as possible to minimalize the smoke and heat. Always remember to check
Provide appropriate emergency assistance: Emergency assistance should be appropriate and available immediately. Having first aid and CPR training is important. In addition, have the proper consents completed and available.
