President Barack Obama did many things to get to the positions he is at now.” Obama himself struggled with his mixed-race identity and sought to figure out how he fit in with the rest of the world”(Source B). He also had many problems growing up and many complications to get through school since he didn’t have much money. But Obama showed great appreciation for the things he had. He went out in his community becoming a great leader. Not only did he go out in his community and be a leader, But he showed great leadership, as a senate and as a president.Barack Obama was more than just an ordinary President, but he showed great leadership, hard work and cared for others than himself.

Throughout the course of American political history, the presidential office has always been envisioned as a position of tremendous power and liberty, capable of making change and fulfilling promises to the American people for the ultimate betterment of their lives. Elected president in 2008, President Obama was faced with the hope and expectations of significant reform to combat the present discontent and struggle of the American public that remained at the end of Bush’s presidency. Surprisingly, while most Americans and the general public believe that the American president is capable of change and essentially rewriting history, Stephen Skowronek, in his book, The Politics Presidents Make, contends that presidents rarely have the opportunities to enforce drastic change. Rather, he states that presidencies are marked by life-cycles in respect to the “rise and fall” of political regimes and hence, these presidencies are characterized by their given moments and opportunities in history. Within this definition, the Obama presidency is restricted to an ongoing Reagan regime, limiting the Obama presidency to a preemptive role. Thus, in my paper I will expand upon the notion that Obama is a preemptive president rather than a reconstructive one based on Obama’s given political time by examining the Obama presidency in relation to the previous regime and the specific status of that regime.

President Barack Obama has been the voice of millions of Americans. Through his hardwork and determination, he was able to give healthcare to those who cannot afford it. Also, he was able to help some Americans get jobs and increase their minimum wage. His progressive work has helped the United States recover from the recent financial downfall.

There have been forty-four U.S. Presidents over the past two hundred and twenty four years. Some were very successful. Of those few historians, Abraham Lincoln was one of the greatest presidents that ever live. He is responsible for preserving the union, freeing the slaves, and enacting various new policies. Lincoln was a president that never gave up and put his people first. He was strong, confident and believes in his principles. Some of the presidents were least successful. Of those few historians, Herbert Hoover wasn’t very successful while he was in office. He was considered to be a terrible president because an awful thing occurred on his watch. Which was the Great Depression.

Barack Obama has impacted America in many ways since he was elected the 44th president on November 4th, 2008. The first African American president of the United States has taken the world by storm and done many great things for this country. Barack Obama has accomplished many things in his personal life, and also as the president of the United States. Obama has affected the world financially, economically, and rebuilt our image as a nation.

Barack Obama has many achievements and will be remembered well in history. In the past year, Obama took action that directly affected the black community. High incarceration rates, police brutality, healthcare, and education were some of the issues he addressed.

Sreedhar Potarazu points out in his article “Obama's legacy is at stake” the future of the president’s mark on history. He wonders how, if the ACA doesn’t endure, the president will be remembered. Of course the first black president will always remain his honor, but as far as presidential achievements go where will Obama stand in the halls of American greatness? Potarazu is quick to point out other great leaders from our nation’s past and their noteworthy achievements in order to set a baseline of comparison for President Obama. The author even makes sure to mention such famous phrases as “Iran Hostage Crisis,” “Tear down that wall,” and “Read my lips” only to dramatically drive home the importance of a presidential legacy.

Do you think that these five presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Theodore Roosevelt are the the great presidents? I think that these presidents were wonderful presidents because they do a lot of things for us. Do you appreciate that these presidents were our presidents when they were? I say yes because when they were presidents everything we did was because of these presidents. These presidents are better presidents then the presidents that he have been having. All of these presidents are connected to each other like other things the world that you may not know that are connected. These presidents are the presidents that i like because of the things I read about them and the information people tell me about these presidents.

George .W. Bush and Barrack Obama two of America’s great presidents, both filled with their individual ambitions and charisma. These prominent presidents have ruled the most powerful country in the world using their different strategies and policies. George Bush, a republican was the 43rd president of America had two terms in power (cite). On the other hand Barrack Obama the first black president of America and a democrat was his successor. He is known for his charisma. Notwithstanding, their various good leadership skills and the criticisms, Obama has been a better and more successful president United States than George Bush. Despite the fact that his presidency being criticized for being a failure he has done a good job so far. Obama is showing promise in his policies trying fix the problems that were created by past American presidents in terms of handling the domestic and foreign policies.

In my opinion, with Barrack Obama being elected was a way of introducing equality and showing society that we too as African Americans can do great things. We came along ways from slavery days and things are different. We are the same and equal in this free state., the great United States of America.

Barack grew up living with his grandparents he went to Puncheon Academy and he excelled in basketball, and many other things.After high school Obama went to Occidental College in Los Angeles for two years.
