President Lincoln lived a difficult childhood face with many obstacles, but would end up becoming one of the most influential president’s the United States would ever have. His death came all too soon, but his legacy will life on forever.
Lincoln was born into a normal statue home in Hardin County, Kentucky. Money was tight for him and his family so during childhood Lincoln worked and gave his wages to his father. His mother died when he was young which put more of a strain on the relationship he had with his father. Lincoln only managed to attend school for 18 months during his childhood. Once he was older he moved around the state of Illinois doing odd jobs until he settled as a general store owner.
