I just returned from an amazing vacation. I went with my family on a cruise ship for 7 days. Our ship was called Oasis of the Seas and is the second largest passenger ship created; we had 6,400 people on board. It was so big it had a full volleyball/basketball court, a mini golf course, a zipline, an ice skating rink and 21 pools/hot tubs. This isn't even half of the crazy ammenities they offer on board. They also offer shore excusions for the various countries we stopped in. This was very important to me as I had never left the country before then. The Oasis docked in Mexico, Jamacia and Haiti. More specifically we docked on the island of Cozumel in Mexico. In Cozumel we took a snorkling tour to the Palancar and Columbia reefs led by Diving Captain Carlos. It was my first time snorkling and it was amazing. The water was perfectly clear and we could see over 150 feet. We had beautiful views of coral and rock formations and well as tons of marine life. We saw 3 sea turtles, a school of young barracudas and one huge 5 foot long barrcuda that was scarred and battle

The Titanic is one of the most famous ships known around the world as the once "unsinkable ship". April 15, 1912 the Titanic sank into the Atlantic Ocean on it's one and only voyage. The 825 ton ship can be found 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland 12,600 feet below the Atlantic.
The RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Titanic was the middle child in a series of three ships: the Olympic, the Titanic, and the Britannic. These unprecedentedly large ships were built in Belfast, Ireland, in the shipyard of Harold and Wolff for the White Star Line company. The Titanic and her sister ships were built 269.1 meters long, 28.2 meters wide, 53 meters from the keel to the top of the funnels, and weighing in at a whopping 46,000 tons (Felkins, Leighly Jr., Jankovic, 1998). On April 2, 1912, The Titanic finally sets sail to Southampton, England, where it was to start its maiden voyage to New York. Finally, on April 12, 1912, Titanic commenced its infamous voyage. Just four days into the journey, tragedy had struck. Despite receiving multiple warnings of dangerous ice sections and icebergs throughout the day, the Titanic continues on its course through the frigid Atlantic waters without diversion. The captain of the ship, Smith, goes to bed around 9:20. However, at 11:40 on April the 12th, the Titanic strikes the iceberg on

The sinking of the Titanic was one of the biggest disasters in human history, which led to a public outrage due to extreme loss of life. There were a lot of special hearings about the causes of disaster, lack of lifeboats, conduct of officers on board, and the treatment of third-class passengers. In 1985, the discovery of wreckage site allowed scientists to carry out expeditions to the ship to do forensic study on this engineering tragedy. As a result, scientists performed visual and sonar imaging, recovered samples of hull steel and rivets to do their investigation on the Titanic. Furthermore, the properties of metallic rivet samples were analyzed to determine if they met specifications set at the time of her construction . The report
“We could see groups of the almost fifteen hundred people still aboard, clinging in clusters or bunches, like swarming bees; only to fall in masses, pairs or singly, as the great after part of the ship, two-hundred and fifty feet of it rose into the sky, till it reached a sixty-five or seventy degree angle.” – John Thayer (www.eyewitnesshistory.com). The RMS Titanic, more commonly known as “The Titanic”, set sail across the Atlantic Ocean April 10, 1912 from Southampton, England to New York City, USA. The “unsinkable” Titanic was a luxury boat, with mostly first class seats. It was the most high class boat of its time with nothing but positive reviews from wealthy businesses. The sinking of the Titanic is proof that
The problem for Celebrity Cruises was clear in they needed to define a clear positioning for its customers and figure out a way to keep the demand strong maintain market share and focus on specific customers in their target market.
