Demitri turned back and faced him, sneering. “Where is the King?” he repeated, giggling softly. “I never thought that would be a question you would ever have to ask, my old Sensei. How about the Queen? Want to know where she is too?” His voice tightened. Demitri’s wry tone made Burton fear the worst. “They’re dead,” Demitri said. “Dead.” The words nearly took the life right out of Burton. His knees began to shake. “And the princess?” he asked. The seconds before Demitri replied felt like a lifetime. “She’s alive. Gretchen and the other castle servants took her to the belvedere of the castle tower just before the water breached the kingdom walls. They haven’t come down since.” Demitri went right back to looking through his
In was then that Diana Moon Glampers, the Handicapper General, came into the studio with a double-barreled ten-gauge shotgun. She fired twice, and the Emperor and the Empress were dead before they hit the floor… they thought. The bult had hit Harrison square in the Heart. But for the dancer it hit right below skimming her lungs. She was still alive.
“Speaking of which.” king said Floating over to Elizabeth and Meliodas. “So you and this girl, what is your relationship captain?”
Hey fam!” whispered M&M, “We’re not getting any good information. You should start talking up the princess. She might have some information.”
“I’m afraid she’s still away, I have yet to hear from her or her bodyguards.” Kragen responded.
Many years ago there was a handsome immortal man named Solarius, who was the human representation of the sun. He was the offspring of the sun god Helios and wandered the earth from dawn until dusk, when he disappears with the sun. For years Solarius was oblivious to the moon rising as the sun set, until one day he turned back just before he faded away and was stunned by the beauty of the moon and it’s companion. As Solarius fades away, he vows to learn more about the mysterious maiden.
A group of three boys and two girls laughed, as they threw stones to his forehead.
He glimpsed the fear in her eyes. “No, he’s alive. But with any luck, Fontaine will be dead soon. You, my dear, can find out. He and I are not friends, but it wouldn’t be suspicious if you checked on his health.”
“I avoided her since then and thanks to the size of the castle, that wasn’t so hard. Just when I felt like I was getting over the mess, I saw her a few days ago. She’s with child.”
“Wait,” Luci looked at Dr. Martin seriously, “you don’t seem to be too bothered by my being the Princess of Darkness?”
He glanced up to where the princess was sitting, but only to realize she was no longer sitting there. Thoughts raced through his head; not only thoughts of fright but also hopeful wishes to find his lover behind the door. He was unsure of how this could be possible, but oh how
Fianna nervously pushed several loose strands of hair behind her ears and surveyed the shadowy forest. Goose bumps popped out on her forearms, sending pinpricks of pain to her fingertips. “Do you think I should tell Mom that this place isn’t as innocuous as it seems?”
It's not that he didn't like anyone, he just didn't see the interest. Evenings spent with Dulcimar or talks or politics and kings with Professor Jax seemed to be his fill for deep affection toward anyone. He had found himself content for the single life, and was not jealous of any of his other friends for their relationships and never judged the twins for their choosing each other. They had constantly pestered him about how he simply needed someone, and that he was attractive enough to not have to be alone. Luckily, Jax had told them that Masanori's that he did not want a lover, needed to be respected and valued, just as their choices had been. And so they left him alone.
Konoha was in bloom. And Hitomi Hane hadn’t seen anything so beautiful in a long time like this village. From the banners waving slowly in the summer breeze to the decorations and tender feeling of love radiating from every citizen, Hitomi couldn’t imagine anywhere she would rather be. Not even her homelands. Her eyes were wide behind the fabric that covered half of the genin’s face, a small smile appearing on her face as she walked through the streets alone. She would have to fly up later and get a better view, before they did the fireworks, since she couldn’t remember what the village looked like from the air. Every village was different and if she wanted to train and become a scouting shinobi, a kanchi taipu, practicing now wouldn’t hurt.
“They have been gaining fast and we are losing resources.” The empress’ voice faltered for a second before stating “Find the captain of the royal guard and inform him of this immediately.” The page left swiftly. The Empress let out a swift sigh before adjusting her crown. News of this would quickly spread and a formal address would be needed. She set out to find the royal tailor.
“What is the matter, my queen?” King Leopold asked Regina as she stared into nothingness, looking a little longing.
