I am Diana Nicole Newton, also known as Princess Diana. I was born August 4, 1999 in North Carolina to my parents Amanda and Doug Newton. I was a sweet, outgoing blonde angel. That was until my younger sister, Tasha, came along. She and I had the stereotypical sibling rivalry one can see on the silver screen. Even though my feelings towards her shifted frequently, one thing that never wavered was my love for our cat, Binky. My father rescued Binky when I was just a few weeks old. From then on, we were inseparable. I loved her and it seemed as if she loved me too. The photo albums from when I was a toddler are filled to the brim with pictures of my feline friend and I. Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961 in Sandringham, United Kingdom to the eighth Earl of Spencer, Edward John Spencer, and Frances Spencer. Diana had four other siblings; Elizabeth, Cynthia, John, and Charles. In 1967, Frances Spencer left Edward for Peter Shand-Kydd. Frances and Edward divorced in 1969. The children stayed with Edward and, in 1976, Edward married Raine, Countess of Dartmouth. After the death of Diana’s grandfather, the seventh Earl of Spencer, the family moved to the Althorp house in Northamptonshire.1
Marie Antoinette was born on November 2, 1755, to dominant and controlling Holy Roman Empress Maria Theresa. She had a normal childhood, but when she was 12, her mother decided to arrange a marriage with France to solidify the connection between Austria and France. Maria Theresa chose Antoinette for her gentle disposition, (as well as lack of other daughters to offer), and she was sent off to Versailles. Antoinette however, did not lead the life she expected. She suffered through the humiliation not being able to produce children for another seven years, having a feeble husband who, at first, had no interest in romance, and the French Revolution, the event that would lead to her demise.

Diana Ross is internationally known. With a career spanning for over 40 years, Ross is by far one of the best female entertainers of all time. Diana Ross began her career as a singer that evolved as an actress. She began as a member of a famous singing group, which grew into world-wide fame, riches, and family. Diana has led a rags-to-riches life that is one to be admired.

As queen of France, Marie Antoinette was a symbol of what the common French peasant hated of the aristocracy. She often had a cold disinterest in the common people, however being warm and outgoing to fellow noble aristocrats. Generally liked at first, she turned into the very thing commoners hated of the aristocracy. Through her years, her actions as queen, what she did during times of unrest and turmoil in France, and simply how the people viewed her attributed to her becoming of a villain to the peasants.

Early Life Queen Elizabeth I was born on the September 7, 1533 in Greenwich England. She was declared illegitimate through political plotting. She declared to the throne at the age of 25 and kept it for 44 years. King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn gave birth to a girl.
The last five weeks of my clinical rotation I was able to spend my time at the Marjorie R. Oakley Home for women. This is one of two recovery homes that is administered by The Recovery Group of Southern West Virginia, the other home ran by this organization is the New Beginnings Home for Men. While I spent much of my time with the ladies that stay at the women’s home I was also able to meet a few of the males that was staying at the men home. The recovery home was a type of “group” home created to help provide opportunities for both adult men and women trying to free themselves from the nasty cycle of addiction. The main goal of the homes is to help these individuals to get clean, and avoid relapsing due to addictive environments. The
Throughout the years of Princess Diana’s life she showed her capability to overcome hardship, and work through her pain to become someone the world would never forget. Her life began on July 1, 1961, in her quiet hometown of Sandringham, England. Diana learned at an early age how to deal with her rough family life. Her struggles began when her parents divorced when she was a small child, further lessening her relationship with her parents. Her and her four other siblings helped each other through that tough time.
Princess Diana of Wales was killed in a car accident in Paris, France in 1997. She was divorced from England’s Prince Charles and a mother to Princes William and Harry. In her life, she was known for her philanthropy and her marriage with the Prince. The accident was known around the world and many newspapers and news programs wrote articles about the late Princess’s death. The Queen of England and Princess Diana’s brother Lord Spencer spoke about the Princess in a televised speech and her eulogy at the funeral service.
Throughout Princess Diana’s lifetime she loved, cared, and helped others along the way. She had many accomplishments in life. Such as her children and her many organizations.
Princess Diana was a very devoted woman, she always saw the good in everyone and always tried to help anyone in need, anyway she could. Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles in 1981 and became known as Princess Diana. “Anywhere I see suffering, that is where I want to be, doing what I can.” - Princess Diana. As an adored member of the Royal Family, Princess Diana broke barriers of royal protocol, was one of the biggest fashion icons of the world, and will be remembered through her legacy.
