Diana, Princess of Wales was considered the people’s princess. She married Prince Charles, son of Queen Elizabeth II, of England in 1981. When they divorced in late 1996 the people were heart broken over the affair that Prince Charles had with Camilla Parker Bowles. Princess Diana led the same life she had been, she continued her charity work and her love life. The tragedy that left the country in tears and the world in disbelief, ended with unanswered questions which people turned into conspiracy theories. Princess Diana was killed in an attempt to keep the country 's secrets safe.

Princess Diana was more than just a public figure and royal, she was a loving person who brought light to social issues and cared for those who are destitute.

Princess Diana was an inspiration for many people around the world and used her royalty to highlight major social issues. Diana’s dedication to humanitarian work helped to promote awareness and raise money for a wide range of charitable causes, including her campaign against landmines and her kind hearted approach to the AIDS predicament. Diana crossed boundaries to offer support to casualties and worked hard to change the opinions of the general public, which didn't particularly follow royal protocol because she lead from the heart, not the head.

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in a fatal car crash while in Paris. Her funeral was held on September 6, 1997, at Westminster Abbey in London, England. Diana had four other siblings; Elizabeth, Cynthia, John, and Charles. In 1967, Frances Spencer left Edward for Peter Shand-Kydd. Frances and Edward divorced in 1969. The children stayed with Edward and, in 1976, Edward married Raine, Countess of Dartmouth. After the death of Diana’s grandfather, the seventh Earl of Spencer, the family moved to the Althorp house in Northamptonshire.1
