There are four different forms of business organizations as outlined in our text (Cleverley, Song, Cleverley, 2011, pp. 8-10). The first form is the Not-For-Profit (NFP) Business-Oriented. These type business organizations are community owned as opposed to investor owned. They are exempt from federal income and property taxes. As (OIG) it’s a necessary and fundamental need to incorporate a corporate compliance plan to have for staff and management to stay organized and lessen the chance of fraud, waste, and abuse in the company. Stated by, (Cleverly, Song, & Cleverly, 2011), it is effective only if it includes management support, effective communication, continuous monitoring, and individual accountability. The design of an organization is a “formal, guided process for integrating the people, information, and technology of an organization” (Glickman et al., 2007). A good organizational design increases the likelihood that an organization will succeed; that its’ values will be realized and its mission will be attained. An organization begins with a strategy or a purpose, is followed by its philosophy or values, then identifies the mission and finally evaluates the environment and its’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the organization (Kelly & Crawford, 2008).

The simple definition of organization is the association, business, or club that is formed for a particular purpose with a set of objectives and goals (Organization, n.d.). According to Roemer, “the ultimate objective of an organization in a health system is to promote or protect peoples’ health…” (p. 49).

Some of them are the prices of services, different co-pays someone will have to pay out of pocket, lower premiums, they have to be competitive in the quality of the service in which they perform daily. The health care competition is being advertised every day. The competitive nature of business cause them to reach out to the community.
