Leadership Style The art of leadership is to think of the leaders as steward in terms of relationship, assets, legacy, momentum, effectiveness, of civility and values (DePree 14). The leaders’ should leave behind their personal interest and promote the interest of their group. A good leader should be the role model of its constituents and his decisions should be respected and obeyed by the members. There are three standing behaviors of a leader. ❖ Goal oriented – leaders should be set in one course that will promote interest for their members. This type of leadership is usually applied in a public organization or in the government where bureaucracy is eminent. Public organizations are funded by the government, and their structures are mainly dependent on the recommendations of the state. One of most determining structure for this kind of organization is bureaucracy. The theories surrounding this form is somehow complicated and may be hard to follow by some public institutions, but once it is implemented, it can be a means of providing efficient and effective management structure as a whole. This paper is incorporation of different bureaucratic practices and how can it be able to show that it brings more advantages for the institutions than disadvantages. The management practices within the organization will be provided coupled with the bureaucratic aspects involved within it. In this stand, the organization should be able to use the advantages of bureaucracy properly and try to mitigate some of its disadvantages. The introduction of different structures to the institution may be an innovation for them, but sticking to bureaucracy is their option to ensure that every aspects of their operation will be properly administered in the end.
