All of those tasks were in chronological order with realistic dates and time between each task. This will allow me to be able to be on task at all times and know what to do before hand. Therefore, I will be able to provide time for this project, while managing the time to attend extracurricular activities or work on assessments. However, due to not being aware of the extracurricular activities and school assessments in the upcoming school year (2016-2017) and being off task most of the time during summer, most of the tasks weren’t finished on time (Appendix i, Extract …show more content…
Since I was always off task and not being able to finish what I planned, the work was starting to bile up, including school work and attending extracurricular activities. Diabetes has become an epidemic in today’s society. Diabetes affects almost every system in the body, and with an estimated 346 million people in the world with diabetes, healthcare has been heavily affected by the disease (Ramasamy, Shrivastava, P., & Shrivastava, S., 2013). One of the biggest issues for healthcare workers when it comes to diabetes, is that it is such a complicated disease. With so many different systems being affected, medical professionals have had to learn how the disease process works, what causes diabetes to work through the systems, and the best treatments to address all these issues. Through much research, the healthcare system has grown very knowledgeable on diabetes. One important aspect of treating diabetes has been in the introduction of diabetic education. In the past, nurses and dieticians had been responsible for educating patients on diabetes, but now that role is also extended to other people in the healthcare team, including the patient (Tomky, 2013). In fact, patients taking an active role in the education process, including learning to self-care has now become a priority in diabetes treatment. The following paper will discuss diabetic education, the importance of self-care and how this affects a patient’s compliance.

Sometimes life forces me to experience or suffer what I can do and what I want to do. Most of the time I face this problem whenever I have homework or an extra activity to do. Students, close to my age, suffer doing their homework in time. Or they just procrastinate until the last day to finish their homework. This problem can also be seen throughout books.
Ross A. Rosenberg, Rosenberg presented a variety of time management strategies for an individual to employ in their everyday life in order to be successful (Rosenberg, 2016). One tip I plan to use when it comes to my time management is to be resilient. At times there are assignments that I am given and have no idea on how to complete it. Yet, enabling resilience to similar situations in the future will allow me to overlook the problems at hand. As explained by Rosenberg (2016), there is more to resiliency than just an individual’s intelligence and accomplishments; it includes having strength and not backing down when faced with difficult tasks. I believe that resilience will

Media literacy is defined as "the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and communicate messages in a variety of forms" (Know TV). In more practical terms, media literacy means questioning the media and interpreting its many messages accordingly. Students are exposed to mass quantities of media on a daily basis. They watch television and movies, read books, newspapers, and magazines, listen to music, and in more recent years explore the Internet. This extreme exposure to media outlets leads to the need for education about the media. Media literacy is one way to help educate students about issues in which they are already actively engaged. Media literacy should be implemented into
