Surprisingly, the team from the Netherlands won the gold medal, and the young captain of the team, Willem Janssen, became an international superstar and the new face of DodgeBall.
After that first Olympics, a DodgeBall World Cup was established. Every four years, teams from around the world would compete to earn the title of World Champion. The first World Cup was held in 1998 in France. It was sparsely attended and moderately covered by the media. Even so, those involved
The children can get really good physical activity for their bodies. Dodgeball can help a lot of youths work on the eye coordination and their throwing and catching skills. When the children catch then you have to see the ball coming and you will work on seeing it from different sides so they will be faster and be more agile. Matt LaBash even stated that “the children are getting softer because we are trying to coddle them and not let them get scrapes or play certain sports”. This will help the way they play sports and other activities. Students can get faster and be quicker at catching and throwing the ball. This will help them in their later on in life when they are doing a job that has a lot of hand and eye coordination.

Dodgeball is just the start of the Physical activity war. The Physical Education Directors start with getting rid of Dodgeball then they will slowly make students start to walking in circles for an hour then going back to class! Like Reilly says in his article Weak Shall Inherit the Gym “Human targets? What's tag? What's a snowball fight? What's a close play at second?” Dodgeball is just one of many “human

What is the first thing that pops up your mind when you think about Dodgeball? A sport that was fun when you were a child or a sport that you hated? Dodgeball is a fun sport when you're the person throwing the ball at someone, but it's not fun when you're the person getting hit by it. There two sides in Dodgeball. Either you like it or you hate it. Video source three states, “Throughout the United States, many schools have banned Dodgeball because it brings out the worst in people.” Many people think it’s true and many people believe it’s not true. Source 1 states, “The students who get eliminated first in Dodgeball are typically the ones who most need to be active and practice their skills.” Many times these students are the ones that have the least confidence in their physical abilities. “16% of the U.S. youth aged 6-19 are overweight. Tripled the proportion of 25 years ago” (source one).
My first reason why i think that dodgeball is not a terrible game. Dodgeball isn't a bad P.E game because it is teaching the kids of they are the weak players or the strong players. This proves that the kids might work harder to be one of the strong players so they won't be the first target. This evidence tells people that they can be one of the strong and not the weak. If kids never learn that they are one of the weak players they are going to be the first target to stronger kids. I know that mom’s want their kids to go to school and be safe. But at some point in life the kids need to grow up and learn what they are are going to have to deal with later in life. This reminds me of the story that I was reading. This story talked about a bully
The teams have very different roles depending on whether they are at bat or catching. At bat players are tasked to open a play and run the lanes until they cross the escape line. Catching players are tasked to hit the players running the lanes with the ball. There can be a maximum of 2 players running in each lane at the same time. A player can be hit in both lanes once. Oina is actually what baseball was based off of. The team at bat is selected by a ritual where the players have to grab the bat, thrown by the referee, and the last one to be able to place at least 4 fingers on the bat wins. The game begins with the team at bat, with one of the players throwing the ball while another player of the same team has to hit it with a wooden bat and

The principle instability displayed by an outside undertaking is the wind. Since the experiments were all performed inside the same couple of hours, and the wind vacillates detectable, it is unquestionably a reason for instability in the information. Amid the trials, the wind felt around 5 to 7 mph toward the dispatches at some focuses, and afterward non-existent at different times. This may have represented a few irregularities, yet insufficient to have skewed the information fundamentally. There additionally was the human blunder in deciding precisely where the balls landed. In spite of the evidence that there was snow on the ground, and the shots made imprints in the snow, now and then it was hard to decide precisely where it landed as a result of impressions, and so forth. The last wellspring of noteworthy instability in the information was available in the setup of the launch for every trial. The dispatches could have been marginally conflicting because of the estimated way of the sling on the sling. The sling and balls were fixed up in practically the same accurate position without fail; however, slings are not correct, nor are the entire launch system essentially. In any case, none of these instabilities seemed to modify the information in any critical way judging by the relative consistency of the
