PROCESS IMPROVEMENT FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S VIEW
Effective leadership requires purpose and direction. Planning and preparation are vital when evaluating the success of the institution. The course reading states: ?As a new principal, you must assess the capacity of delivery mechanisms, facilities, and equipment before you make recommendations for enhancements? (WGU Student Portal, January 5, 2017). Attention to detail, being flexible and problem solving are at the core of school leadership. This paper will discuss two types of delivery mechanisms as it relates to learning and provide specific examples of how programs are used. Next, examine school facilities, technology and equipment, including use and specifications. Finally, discuss process improvement as it relates to the educational institution.

Part of the challenge is getting buy in from old-time teachers that struggle with technology. It?s a matter of providing the necessary professional development so that teachers are confident. Our professional learning communities? school wide is helping. Last year the district technology director instituted district wide professional learning communities in all 1:1 classrooms. This gave teachers from other schools in the district opportunities to share what has worked in their classroom. We now have a new Technology Director and those same district wide professional learning communities are not in place for 1:1 teachers yet. Bringing back district wide PLC?s specifically for 1:1 classrooms would help improve processes in those educational
Writing a paper on the writing process is pretty hard. The writing process is different from one person to another. You come across questions like, 'What exactly is the writing process?'; and 'Must you follow one persons writing process if yours is different?'; This is where I came across the answer to my questions, write however you wish to write. If one person likes free write first and another person likes to write a draft first, let them do how they please.
Future school leaders are expected to understand, address, and solve problems they will encounter (Copland 2000). School leaders must also be able to anticipate a problem before it happens. Problems that school leaders are faced with can be identified as routine, structured, or ill-structures problems. Routine and structured problems are the familiar issues that leaders face, ill -structured problems are more complex. Ill-structured problems are more complex and lack clarity and present numerous obstacles. The ill-structured are the situations that are unforeseen and cannot be anticipated. The Interstate School Leader Licensure Consortium or ISLLC has developed six standards that provide a foundation for thinking about ill-structured problems.
Approximately three years ago my district began a journey to become 1:1. So far one could best describe the progress as hit and miss. Some teachers embrace the situation and ran with it. Others not so much. Ask any teacher who embraced this opportunity and they will all agree the single greatest challenge comes from outside the building. The Hickman Mills School District consists of students in high poverty situations. Many of which have no internet access at home. This makes it difficult to provide students opportunities to work on any tech related assignment outside the building. Another issue arises from lost or damaged technology. Many parents cannot afford the fees incurred when their child loses or damages chargers and or iPads.
To the right is a photograph looking through one of my contact lenses. Since it is hard to depict what I see without them in, this photo goes to show what it looks like through the lens compared to what my camera sees with “perfect vision.” Through the lens you can see a tree clearly in the distance which is normally a blurry green and brown tree like shape through my bare eyes. This photo was taken out of my window in the foyer of my house in the Logan neighborhood.
There is always something you can do to make your school better, and every single human has a different opinion on what it is. Some people think it is that we need more sports or certain new classes, but what I want will make everyone happy! Here is the what, why, how, and the cons of my change.
A young guru one said, “Everybody wants to be successful” in life, but the question is how bad you want it. Most Athletes always say they want to be successful, they want to make it, but the truth is they don’t. They make excuses, their tired, or they don’t have someone to take them to practice, or they have no one to train with. Well I can say that the time for that is over. How Bad Do You Want It, is an athletic facility, where young and old athletes can go and train. My gym is the only gym in the city that provides transportation a bus to pick up athletes; its open 24/7 so you can get your work in; a pool for after the workout you can relax your muscles; and most importantly have turf for field work outs.

Building a PLC framework where teachers meet as a team weekly is another step in transforming a school. Effective PLCs allow teachers to discuss what will be taught, to what depth it will be taught, and how it will be assessed. During PLCs, teachers grow in content, analyze data to the kid level, and learn from their colleagues ways to reach children who may need different interventions. Professional development can be a component of PLCs. Based upon what a teacher or team may need, individualized or small group professional development can be administered during this time.

This report is to discuss the findings from observations made at the Chipotle restaurant on Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando. Observations were made on Monday August 9, 2010 with the first time frame from noon to 1 p.m. and the second time frame from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. These observations are used to make recommendations on managing queues, process capability, and statistical process control.
Based on conversations with staff members, I believe there is a strong correlation between teacher confidence with technology and whether they use it or not. Many teachers are not comfortable using technology for themselves, therefore there is not a good chance they will be comfortable modeling technology for students. We have had some professional learning opportunities but we also have staff members that will not take the time to learn new methods at this point in their career.
ISSUE: Although there has been a strong push to get educational technology into the hands of teachers and students, many obstacles to implementation still exist. Equipment may not be placed in easily accessible locations. Hardware and software often pose problems for teachers in the classroom, and just-in-time technical support may be unavailable. Teachers may lack the time and the motivation to learn technology skills. Professional development activities may not provide ongoing, hands-on training for
The process of learning can be subdivided into cognitive (knowledge), affective (emotions), and psycho-motor (skills). This process of learning until recently followed the conventional means of learning or teaching that was more serious in nature. This conventional methods of teaching, in the opinion of some educators, makes the learning process disinteresting to learners. This has led therefore to a shift in the learning process as the focus is now on incorporation of programs whose nature is educational and entertaining. It now begs the question on whether it is entirely possible to incorporate education with education without compromising content.
Is it possible to look fashionable with a limited amount of money? Many women, especially college students and young adults, want to look stylish without emptying their bank account. This can be difficult to achieve because women want to be up to date with trends, but trends continuously change leaving them with little money. To help keep women from spending money on the next latest trend, they must know how to become fashionable while still able to save. Knowing where to begin is key to looking fashionable without breaking the bank. [Question]
The problem of enhancement of education belongs to a number of those pedagogical problems which don 't lose the relevance eventually. The modern situation in modern society is characterized by the growth of the local ethnic conflicts. Tasks of preserving safety in modern society require continuous work on studying the nature of the conflicts between representatives of various ethnic groups, their influences on the social and economic life of society, and also search of ways of their overcoming. All this sets serious problems for education which can 't but react to the taking place events in society. The experience of foreign countries, in particular, the USA, shows that educational institutions are the main structures where the purposeful uniting and peacekeeping policy is pursued. Therefore, education can help society to bring up youth in the spirit of the humane attitude towards representatives of other cultures and to find effective methods of a decrease in international hostility which can be applicable in a social environment in one hand and in other hand can help to improve students’ grades. Nowadays, researchers propose a theory of culturally focused pedagogy that might be considered in the reformation of teacher education. According to Lopez, (2016), “some researchers assert that culturally responsive teaching (CRT) improves academic achievement because it views students’ culture and language as strengths.” All schools has their ratings, and parents usually want to
