Professional Players Make Too Much Money Athletes in the major professional sports are getting paid far too much. The New England Patriots quarterback named, Tom Brady is a perfect example on the amount of money one elite athlete can make in the National Football League. These athletes are having millions of dollars that are being tossed all around them. The salary amounts is a good representation on something terrible about our society. The large amount of money that these athletes are making may not always go to good use. Many athletes are overpaid and selfish. This issue matters to young athletes in the United States; while many athletes claim that the amount of money they are making is fair, evidence suggests that the amount of money that they are making is ridiculous, and that is why I believe one day professional athletes will not make as much money as they are making now. One elite professional athlete that is the perfect example that can be talked about making a ridiculous amount of money is Tom Brady. He is the New England Patriots quarterback in the National Football League. He uses to play college for the University of Michigan before he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He is a four time Super Bowl champion XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, and XLIX. He is a three time Super Bowl MVP.
