Significant Projects Environmental Permitting and Regulatory Compliance Project Manager – NW Natural Mist Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility Expansion, Oregon Department of Energy – Oregon NW Natural is requesting an amendment to the Site Certificate for the Mist Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility in order to expand the current site boundary to accommodate up to five future underground reservoir storage areas, develop one of the five underground reservoirs, and develop the components necessary to deliver up to 120 MMscfd from the new reservoir and compressor station to the Port Westward Industrial Park (PWIP). The project would include a 13-mile underground natural gas transmission pipeline from the new reservoir and compressor station to the PWIP. For this project, Cardno serves as an extension of ODOE staff to review and facilitate the application for amendment process. Ms. Clifford oversees coordination with the Siting Officer and leads a team of technical specialists reviewing draft exhibits for the Amendment Request pertaining to site restoration, geotechnical design, engineering geology considerations, and soils impacts.
