Planning is always helpful for any project even its small or big project. A project without planning has negative impact on their result. Proper planning will consider all task before implementing them into business and can give idea about all possibilities. It can help to break big task into small task and make process smoother. Planning is helping project manager to use their past knowledge in future project. Project planning is the process where project manager decide all the steps to implement and mapped based on the past data, their knowledge, and relative information. When project has been initiated, the first step is planning and scheduling.

Integrated Project Delivery or IDP is a one of the newest project delivery methods in the US construction industry. This method focusses on the collaboration of all the parties involved during the entire process of construction. As all the teams work together, the risks, liabilities, incentives and responsibilities are equally shared by everyone. Even associates having more than 5% of share in the total cost of the construction project are equally liable as any other members of the entire group.
Being appointed as the Project Manger an important task; John C. Maxwell stated “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” This is what the role of a Project Manager is. The role requires defining the start and end dates, developing plans, monitoring progress, conduct meetings, oversee budgets , and make sure the direction and project remains on schedule.
"A project monitoring system involves determining what data to collect; how, when, and who will collect the data; analysis of the data; and reporting current progress. Gray and Larson (2006)."
The key element in the project management is to manage the expectations of the stakeholder. This must be performed within the reach of the project’s scope. A scope document can be designed for this which will prove helpful for the stakeholders to understand what is to be expected during the progress of the project’s course. This project plan is a telecommunication project plan which will define the expectations of the stakeholders more professionally. This paper will provide guidance on managing the expectations of the stakeholders via project scope document.
Throughout the project, the Project Board uses the Project Plan as a baseline against which to measure progress. As such, the Project Plan must contain the overall schedule and cost of the project, as well as tolerances set by corporate/programme management. The Project Plan also provides a high-level view of the project’s management stages.
Every project is an opportunity to produce something new, to make a real difference. You can introduce change, increase productivity, enhance capabilities of your company or of a client or build new relationships. Seven steps are essential to success in organizations that simultaneously manage multiple initiatives. Effectiveness begins with good pre-project planning plus an understanding of what a project is and what can be at stake. Consistently following these seven key steps can directly improve a company’s operations, profitability and sanity.
Project definition and planning: Project planning is the second stage of the management phase and is an important part of good management practices. The planning includes defining tasks, writing documents and allocating jobs to project members. The documentation planning includes creating descriptions of required tasks and then submitting papers which outlines the job. The author Esposito (2015), suggests that, “Documents that are created during this time may include the: SCOPE Statement, a Communications Plan, a Work break down schedule, and Gantt Charts”, (p. 3, para. 3). Types of information that the documents should identify are the: budgeting costs, reasonable time tables, a base line for quality performance measures, and a list of
Prior to designing my lessons for my second grade math unit it the resource classroom I observed my students working on various math problems to see what strategies they tend to use. I wanted to know how they solved math problems on their own and what techniques they were most comfortable with. On two different occasions I observed my students when they had technology and were playing math games on www.abcya.com. This was very insightful because I was able to determine which students prefer mental math, which students, need to write out the problem on a paper/whiteboard, and which students used manipulatives (e.g., fingers, number line, counting chips). After my informal assessment through observations I reviewed data from the previous quarter to determine what skills my students have mastered. Then I looked into their IEP goals to see what objectives they are working towards. Lastly, I reviewed the general education math lesson-pacing guide to see what concepts have already been taught and what concepts will be taught in the future. This information is extremely helpful because it allows me to select standards that my students need to master and ways that I can scaffold/differentiate the lesson to meet each of my students individual needs.
