Unprocessed holiday applications can also build up during popular holiday periods, with leave requests remaining unprocessed even after employees’ have returned to work; making it impossible to keep track of how many days’ holiday employees have taken.

1.3 Scope of the project From this project I am expecting to reengineer the leave management system. My objective is to store Personal information in database which provide more secure and convenient for the users. The records which generated by the finger print machine directly go to the system and then the system process the type of the leaves. And also the system processes the total number of leaves and number of no pay days for each employee. In addition from this system I hope to provide facility to apply leaves online and verify the number of leaves of each employee. The system can generate various types of reports such as • Monthly leave reports for employees • Annual leave reports for permanent employees
