When there are state cuts that need to be made, the departments of education are one of the first that usually tend to suffer. Each year from the budget cutting, schools have had to lay off teachers, cut entire programs, and have limited resources used to educate the students. In the past America has been a dominant superpower in the field of military strength, but for the last few decades, our military has encountered abounding liquidations and sequestrations, which lead to huge budget cuts. Deficit spending is presumed to stimulate consumer demand by helping the consumer to obtain more money to spend, in turn, the demand of product will rise. School districts experience changes in educations on a regular basis. Some of these changes occur as a result of local, state, and/or federal issues. Hello, Caitlyn. I personally believe a balanced budget amendment would be in order considering politicians refuse to stop the spending. The reason I would call for a balanced budget amendment is because of Greece. After seeing the mess Greece is in, along with a myriad of many other European countries, I believe national debt is not manageable because the government will continue to spend more than they take in taxes. The Grecian government refused to reform their entitlement programs, so they went into default. The U.S. needs to reform our spending before we head down the same path of self-destruction.

I believe that my side, which is against the “balance budget amendment”, has week arguments. The article does not provide any arguments based on facts, but instead speculations and opinions. The author discusses many negative outcomes that this amendment would have on the stimulus the government provides and efficiency of the economy, despite that his rationale behind these arguments is reasonable he does not provide historical examples, statistics, etc.

Education is the most important possession a person must have. It is the keys to success, wealth, and knowledge. It is the only possession that cannot be taken away from a person and it will open up the windows of opportunities. Education will help us grow as an individual, have better understanding of life, and give us a financial stability; but what happens when education get cuts down. Budget cuts in schools cause turmoil and stress among the students and faculty. Drastic changes in the budgets have caused schools to negatively impact the people around them. With the lack of funding, schools are facing difficult decisions on what to do to stay within their budget. Supervision is facing much scrutiny on how to handle the lack of funding in their school districts. A solution needs to be made to improve the distribution of funding to our schools in order to keep them operating and thriving for our children to obtain their education. Although it can happen to both individual and business, when government spends more and not able to balance the budget, we say it is deficit spending. Deficit spending is created each fiscal year by congress and government because the spending by government causes the growth of the economy. For example, in the United State deficit spending is mainly caused by social, security, and medical cost. Government spends most of its revenue in each fiscal year into this payment.
