I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. To many complications will come from a dog park. Such as situations like a dog attacking another dog or even attacking someone else. This can cause a lot of upset owners. Also many painful court cases. Dog parks will bring up a lot of legal issues that we don't need.

The lack of off-leash styled dog parks across the United States of America have brought much debate and unrest within communities. Cities and neighborhoods that do not provide these types of dog parks make it difficult for pet owners to provide exercise, social activities, and a place where dog and dog owners grow and learn together. Park and recreation advocates question the public advocacy on the assets and location in construction for the dog park. Other locals are against the idea of off-leash style dog parks due to their concerns about safety and other potentially problematic issues. Dog parks can vary from different shapes and sizes however, the certain type of dog parks pertaining to this problem are those in which dog owners are legally able to allow their dogs to roam unbound by leashes or constrictions regulated by city and state. The park and recreation advocates of communities who have few or little to none, off-leash dog parks are struggled to balance the fine line that crosses the accounts and finances of production all the while, fight fear that it may create more issues.

Dogs should have their own parks,because when dogs aren't getting the physical and mental excercise that they need, their behavior tend to get worse. ASPCA has a study that shows the rate of dogs biting humans went down drastically in places where they're dog parks. ASPCA also believes that if dogs had a park then their would be less incidents of dogs attacking humans,barking, and destroying things. The need Muscatine, Iowa has for a dog park is a difficult topic. Dog owners have lamented over the fact that there is no safe and legal area for them to allow their dogs to exercise in. In oppistion non-dog owners feel that the construction of a dog park would hamper their ability to peacefully live their life. Also, nobody I know is going to take their dog to the park at night time. Whether or not the dogs in your local city are feral or not seems a lot more important than keeping the noise down. Living in the city can sometimes become hard or stressful for a pet owner. We love our pets and we want them to be happy and heathy but space can be limited. This is why our city desperatly needs a dog park. It is against state ordinance for any dog to be out in public without a leash. So our dogs are mostly restricted to brief walks and limited play.
