It can be useful, but there are a lot of caveats: you have to have the right amounts of fat in the right places on the right body type. This is because the fat has to be drawn between two freezing plates to be treated. If you are a good candidate for fat freezing, the results can take at least four weeks to be seen and often take up to six months to be noticed. The area that is frozen with each treatment is quite small, and since the results consist of only 25% of fat cells in that small area, fat loss is so minute that it can often not even be recorded in pounds. The results are negligible, and patients are only moderately satisfied with the results. It offers merely a very subtle change in body shape.
