Professional athletes have worked hard their whole life, been through ups and downs, and have reached their goal in the end.

Pro basketball players make millions of dollars every year. They also receive probably the most hate from fans. For example Kevin Durant was recently traded to to the Warriors to play with some of the most elite players in the league. He has received so much ridicule from Thunder fans that it has shown up on the news, and some have even gone to the extreme of burning his jersey. Kevin has put in so much time and effort into the game along with the other NBA players. Rob Pannell, a professional lacrosse player for the New York Lizards, attended Cornell University. In 2012 broke a bone in his foot and had a three inch screw put in his foot. Later in his collage career he won the Teeworton award ( the Heisman for lacrosse) and has left a great legacy behind him. Rob was and is still one of the best lacrosse player to every play for Cornell. The problem is pro lacrosse players make about 10-20,000 dollars a year playing the sport alone, of course they have sponcers and other jobs.
