Although there are pros and cons to bring your dog to work. I think it would have to be put up for vote. you have people who love dogs and you also have have people who hate them.
First, Some dogs could do alot of damage in the office by messing up office suppies and office itself. It could also be destracting other employees from getting there jobs done. Dogs have a lot of energy and a office enviorment does not allow area where a dog can release all there energy.
Second, The positve thing about bringing your dog to work it takes a lot of stress off of pet owners mind knowing that they would not have to worry or rush home to check on their dogs. Some people feel like they are at home if thier dogs are in the office with them. which takes
Dogs, in my opinion, make very wonderful pets. Allowing a dog into a workplace makes sense in some ways, but I would definetly not support it. People who support the idea claim they would feel more relaxed, have less stress, and be more
I, along with the author of, "Against Bringing Dogs to Work," believe that dogs should not be allowed in the workplace because they can be a distraction or harm other employees or property.
I'm very surprised on this idea about bringing pets to work. Office is a place where we are supposed to be focus on work we are allow to accomplish so bringing pets in my opinion is one kind of distractions.
I think "Bring Your Dog To Work" would be a great idea. One, having your dog at work will make you feel more relaxed. Two, having your dog at work will allow you to be more productive. But, there's one thing that makes this idea bad...
I am quite the animal lover and I believe this idea should be well thought over. Not everyone would agree with this idea to have your dog in the work place do to alergies or they could even be afraid of your dog. To help
Bringing dogs to work is not a good idea. To allow employees to bring their dogs to work will be a distraction for them and may lead to a desatisfaction job or result. Having pets at work will be a distraction for employees and mostly for who are allergic or afraid to pets because they will be looking around to ensure that they are safe. Another possibility example to not bring pets to work is that it may lead to a disatisfaction job in order, pets owners will take most of their time to take care of their pets instead of doing correct their jobs. This delay can easily affect the job as well the result of a project.
My postion on wether dogs should be allowed in the workplace is that i disagree.I disagree because i think it is not healthy for the work inviroment. Some people are not comfortable around dogs and others have allergies. Some dogs also have behavior problems as well.So here are some more reason why i do not agree with a dog being in the work place.
I support our decision on Bring Your Dog to Work program. I think it could be a really good idea. Especially, for those who have no pet sitters at home. It can be a real productive thing, if people took it seriously.
For example, the person that supports it says that pet owners that have alot of stress and anxiety can feel less of that, when their dog is with them. One wouldn't mind working later hours if they had their dog with them. This person believes that the workplace will increase with satisfaction and productivity having their dog with them. When emloyees are happy there are higher job satisfaction.
Bringing your dog to work could cause many issues. a couple of them could be the allergys, behavior of the dogs, and the feelings of people who dont particularly like dogs
Many large and extremely successful companies permit pets at work; these are businesses like Google, Amazon, and Ben and Jerry’s. Allowing a therapy dog to visit A2LA could be a great kickoff to the wellness challenge or just a new company tradition. Studies show that dogs in the office cause employees to become more productive, efficient, and happier.
I disagree with the Bring your dog to work program. I have had dozens of dogs and from my experince they will be a distraction from stuff you need to do. I think if would be counterproductive to bring pets in the work place simply because the mess they would make while they are there. Some animals do not get along it will cause more work and time to deal with them.
A professional workplace is intended to be just that; a workplace. Though allowing employees to bring their dog to work may be beneficial for the individual employees, it doesn't neccesarily guarantee a more successful work envirnonment for the entirity of the company. The purpose of the installment of the Bring Your Dogs to Work program is intended to relax their owners so they can get more work done. However, this doesn't keep other employees or the pets themselves in mind. This neglects the idea of the impact the program will have on other employees or the dogs themselves.
Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.
Dogs are cute animals. Even though some people think bringing dogs to workplaces is not a problem at all, I think it is. I think bringing dog to workplace could cause distraction for the employees, and disrespectifull for others.
