The WIAT-III seems to be a reliable and valid academic achievement test; however, it is important to explore the feasibility of administering the test. The price of the WIAT-III is currently listed at $675.00; this price includes the components to administer and score the test (Burns, 2010). More expensive options are available that include the computer Scoring Assistant. The WIAT-III is more expensive than another achievement test labeled The Wide Range Achievement Test-IV. However, the Wide Range Achievement test is used more as an academic screener than a comprehensive achievement assessment (Burns, 2010). According to Burns (2010), the cost of the WIAT-III is one of the assessment’s main weaknesses. However, other achievement tests such

This was eye opening to me since it details every test and the year to be given. I had no idea that all of this information was out there. I did find it interesting that they did not give any cut off scores. I am assuming it is due to the fact of the validation of the test.
She is a born leader, and works excellently in groups and frequently pushes her groups to reach their goals. Furthermore, I have rarely seen a student more respectful to both teachers and her peers than Georgia. She is a very social person, and is both outgoing and funny. Georgia is also exceptionally creative. She is always pushing herself to look at challenges and assignments in a different way and it always pays off, especially when writing essays and in other written assignments, as she is an amazing writer. The characteristics that Georgia has demonstrated throughout her entire high school career have prepared her for the upcoming challenge of collegiate academics. I am certain she will approach these new opportunities with the same persistency and drive for excellence that she applies to all of her endeavors, especially as she challenges herself with the new learning experiences and community that are available in the college setting. To conclude, Georgia is an extraordinary student and person, and I recommend her to this school with my highest regards. Sincerely, Georgia Beckmann Head of College Counselling Prospect Hill Academy Charter School Collegiate

The state immediately tried to delete the information after realizing what had happened but it was too late, the damage had already been done. It has now been several months and the state is still working to remove all personal
In the society of today, there are various educators who believe in assessment as proper method to measure the performance of a child in school as well as the overall achievement of a specific school system. The assessment may be presented in the form of verbal, written, or multiple choice, and it usually pertains to certain academic subjects in the school curriculum. Recently, many educators began to issue standardized tests to measure the intelligence of a common student body. (Rudner, 1989) These standardized tests were initially created to reveal the success in institutional school programs, and exhibit the abilities of students today. The standardized tests can reveal the strengths and weaknesses
