1. Interpreting assignments are billed at the rate of $ 75.00 per hour. A three-hour minimum will be billed for assignments. Assignments over one and one half hours require two interpreters. 2. If the interpreting services extend beyond the previously specified time, billing of the additional time will be on the half hour at the rate of $ 37.50 per half hour. 3. Assignments beginning after 4:00 pm will be billed at the rate of $ 95.00 per hour. A three-hour minimum will be charged for assignments. 4. Specialty jobs (performing arts, concerts, videotaping, etc.) will be billed at a rate determined after the assignment has been assessed. 7. In the event that a deaf consumer is late or absent, the interpreter will wait 30 minutes before leaving a 2-hour assignment, 60 minutes before a leaving a 3-4-hour assignment and 1 and one half hours before leaving an assignment longer than 4 hours. The agency will be billed for the entire assignment. 8. Mileage at the rate of 57.5 cents will be charged for all assignments if the mileage for the job exceeds 20 miles each way. Parking fees will be billed to the agency as well as metro rates. 9. To avoid billing agencies contracting interpreting services must cancel the assignment within 48 hours. This includes cancellation due to inclement weather and company or deaf client cancellations. 10. Payment for interpreting services is due within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.
