1.What do you think about the spiritual care provided to this patient?
I think the spiritual care that was provided to this patient was amazing. Being place in this counselor shoes, I would have don’t the same thing. The client had a great life, until the doctor diagnosed him with terminal lung cancer, and the client was feeling very depressed and distraught about the situation until the client met the counselor. At first the counselor did not want to help the client, and stated that he had his own personal beliefs, and don’t want to compare the religion beliefs with the client. When counseling someone, it is very rare to discuss the personal beliefs with the clients. In this case, the counselor help the client find his own religious beliefs and help him find eternity. The client was amazed as of how the counselor helped him find beyond life, death, and after death. The client asked for forgiveness and grace and felt more comfortable of dying.
2. Are there other approaches you might have taken?

I will spent more time with him because when a person has terminal cancer, the life expectancy can be from now up to three months. I will regret that I only had little information to help him with, and I will like to ask more detail questions about his religious beliefs. I will also prepared him more for death by explaining the differences of heaven and hell, and about committing sins to God for forgiveness. I will also tried to inspire him of not being afraid of dying, and make feel comfortable as
Evaluation as an end in itself is a very different process from counseling. Why would a counselor want to be an evaluator?
The goal of parole is to reduce recidivism and help rehabilitate offenders. That is not always the case; offenders will reoffend anyways and be sent back to prison to finish out their sentence. There are many programs out there that try to help parolees become a part of the community again and stay out of trouble. The programs are out there; it is up to the parolees to join them and stay committed. The programs goals are to help the offenders reintegrate into society by using procedures and community resources.
Death is an experience that we will all have to encounter at some stage in life, but for those with elderly parents or relatives, the experience becomes more real. “The experience of dying not only affects the person who is dying but also caregivers, family members, and friends who are left behind” (Osterbur, 2015, p. 102 ) and I can associate with that. My maternal grandmother suffered a major stroke and was later diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She died in the hospital 2 years ago. Unfortunately, she was not a recipient of hospice care and the task of caring for her was done at home with the help of a hired aide and family members. Novak (2012), explains that many are faced with the dilemma of institutional death or at home and the decision to prolong care or end treatment can be burdensome (p. 411). It was an uphill battle and emotionally draining for my mom and
Week one, I learned about phytochemicals. They are a non nutrient substance, which means they have no nutrients in them. They are not processed or anything because they are naturally occurring in plants. They cannot be found anywhere else. Phytochemicals are not needed for short term survival, which means you don’t necessary need them. They are good though because they promote long term health. I applied this to my life by making sure I start having phytochemicals in my diet, so I can help out my long term health.
Rogers like Maslow used the ideas of Albert Einstein when it came to creating his theory of self actualization. In his belief a person who has reached self actualization is very centered and feels at ease in social and non social situations alike. In his thoughts the road to fulfillment was just as important as actually becoming fulfilled, and that each of these was define by the experiences they had. Through his use of patients who were already seeking therapy, he was able to concentrate more on the functioning of the individual rather than the dysfunction of the individual itself. Unconditional positive regard is something that was coined by Rogers to describe support or love that is given from one person to another with no strings attached so to speak. He focused this belief on the love between a parent and a child by believing that the correction of a child’s behavior does not have to come at the cost of a parents love.
I found the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation of both of my variables; including for the variable that has data for 2 years. Interestingly, the variables had some common results. However, there were more differences then similarities, as each calculation had a variety of results. For example, variable X I calculated both years (1990 and 2012) and I knew already that each country had major differences between the two, but I think that affected the results in each step (the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation). It is noticeable to see how the mean and median in 1990 is lower than the mean in 2012, and this carried out through the rest of the next calculations. Comparing these findings to variable Y, I see that there is a tremendous
A bicameral legislature is simply a legislature with two houses. The historical reason that the united states has this type of congress is that the British had this type of congress and they seemed to work so well so we decided to use this type of legislature. The practical reason was to settle the dispute between the New Jersey plan and the Virginia plan. The theoretical reason was so that one could check on the other. In the house of representatives there are 435 people. They serve a 6 year term. To qualify for the house of representatives you must be at least twenty-five years old, you have to be a citizen for the last 7 years, and own a house in the state you wish to represent. There are 100 members in the senate. They serve for 6 years. To be a senator you have to be at least 35 years old, you have to be a citizen for the past 9
To identify, a project idea based on my work and personal life will involve motivating my sister in having a healthier diet. By way of example, I will encourage her in eating more fruits and vegetables to strengthen her immune system and lower her blood pressure. Additionally, motivating her to a healthier eating habit will not only help her wellbeing but strength my abilities as a care provider. Considering that, her diet now consists of high sodium foods such as ramen noodles and fast food, she has been more restless and stressed. Henceforth, this project will build her health and offer her the opportunity to feel more energized, lower blood pressure, and even having more strength to practice walking with her leg braces versus her wheelchair.
Following up on my last field journal, I have successfully terminated the relationships with my clients at the agency. As I anticipated, I did not have any issues during this process. I am both surprised and not at the same time at the range of emotions I feel about leaving and terminating. I am truly a bit sad that I will not be working with my long-term clients anymore. Overall, I am mostly excited to have some time off and develop professionally in other ways.

What most surprised me this week was just how similar, by the 1980s, the Progressive-Conservatives and the Liberals when it came to government policy. It is also an interesting commentary on the historical narrative when comparing how Pierre Trudeau and Brian Mulroney in contemporary historiography.

Briefly discuss your aspirations for a counseling position upon graduation (for example, do you hope to counsel in a community mental health center, a career center, a marriage and family practice, an inpatient substance abuse treatment center).
Fry Brothers heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. employs Larry Clark and George Murnen to make service calls to repair furnaces and air conditioning units in homes. Tom Fry, the owner, would like to know whether there is a difference in the mean number of service calls they make per day. Assume the population standard deviation for Larry Clark is 1.05 calls per day and 1.23 calls per day for George Murnen. A random sample of 40 days last year showed that Larry Clark made an average of
