Throughout the last three decades, increasing numbers of Asians have migrated to Canada from all over the Asian continent. Currently, 44% of the Vancouver area population is of Asian descent (Statistics Canada, 2001). Immigrants commonly occupy skilled job positions that the host nation is unable to fill with its own citizens, and thus they offer many advantages to their receiving country. In a nation with a declining birthrate, such as Canada, their contribution can play a major role on multiple levels. The immigrants themselves often enjoy a greater earning potential than they did in their native country, which can be advantageous for those who wish to send money back home to support their families.

Stress, we all have it in our lives and for some of us it affects us in ways we do not even realise it. This causes me great discomfort as this leads me to not even have the ability to begin my tasks as I am concerned about how I will be able to complete it on time. Once I am able to resolve this predicament I will be confident enough about accomplishing all my tasks and concluding these tasks to my best effort.

In 1990 it was about 5.2 thousand and in 2009 it shows it has grown to approximately 10 thousand women. Women in the age ranges of 25-29 years, 20-24 years, and 30-34 years have remained consistent during the 10 year period.

From our observations, we have found out that “Elsewhere” is a developing country and is needier for goods and services than “Somewhere” which is a developed country and is not as needy as “Elsewhere”. We think “Elsewhere” is a developing country because it has more of an increasing population, than “Somewhere” which has a declining population but is roughly evenly distributed throughout all the age groups. We get to observe how the age group of people 10-19 have a total population in “Elsewhere”, that is way larger than the age 10-19 population for “Somewhere”.
